5 out of 5 eggsGreat AC Mini Card

Pros: Links at very high speeds on AC. Dependable. No hassle drivers from Intel or Dell. Installed on M18x with Dell drivers and consistently connects in the range of 650 to 866 mbps. Great AC card.

Cons: Range could be better. But 5.0ghz never is long in range. I have a new Netgear EX6200 AC1200 extender which is outstanding extender. It is connected to the Cisco EA6500 AC1750. Also a great router. Anyhow, the extender links at a full 866mbps through 3 walls across the entire 2500sq ft house. I sit near the extender so thus the high speeds. Probably would not be so high if I was not within 20 ft of the extender. Either way, this card smokes. Capable of full AC speeds.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend the card. Also the extender. They are a great combination. Not to mention the Cisco EA6500 AC1750. Great combination.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome upgrade.

Pros: Latest wireless technology.
Super fast.
Not expensive.

Cons: OEM packaged, so you need your own screws, antenna, and drivers (available on Intel website). No eggs taken off because this is clearly meant as a system builder device and there was no expectation of these items being included.

Other Thoughts: I have a small computer system which came with a Mini PCIe Wi-Fi card that was only 802.11G/N on the 2.4GHz band. Problem with that was every wireless device runs on 2.4 GHz, so it cause all kinds of problems with my wireless KB and Mouse. I installed this into the computer and installed the drivers. Works great with my 5GHz router, super fast, and no more problems with my wireless Mouse and KB.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade

Pros: Easy Installation.
Fast. Before installation I had 3mbps wireless transfers. Now I get 15mbps wireless transfers.

Cons: Hard to find drivers

Other Thoughts: well worth the upgrade. Make sure you get an AC capable router before upgrading and use proper encryption settings to ensure AC radio use.

3 out of 5 eggsNot actually 867Mbps

Pros: It works
Bluetooth included
drivers were easy to find and install from intel

Cons: Does not actually support 867Mbps connections.
The whole reason I bought this is because I needed a faster wireless card than the N card my laptop came with, which was capable of around 100Mbps throughput. This card is only capable of 200Mbps. I have a gigabit internet connection, and when I plug my laptop into the router with a patch cable, I get gigabit. however, over the 5GHZ wireless AC band of my netgear nighthawk x6, i cannot get anything more than 200Mbits. While still faster than my old card, it is very disappointing nontheless

Other Thoughts: See cons.

5 out of 5 eggsGets The Job Done

Pros: Good connection speeds, relatively easy installation

Cons: Drivers must be downloaded before you install the device; they are not able to be sniffed out by Windows.

Other Thoughts: This is just to let everyone know this card works in the first model Alienware 14 (2013) - you can pop the wireless N card out with ease, install this card, install the drivers and you're good to go. Pairing this card with a new Linksys AC1900 router has resulted in significant speed gains with minimal cost and very little setup work. Don't waste your time or ports with USB adapters!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little AC card

Pros: I've picked up this card twice now and it's been perfect replacement from my default mini pci express cards in my laptop and mini ITX boards. While not the fastest AC card (the speed is limited due to the two antenna design) this card has been super reliable and cheep!

Cons: Not one I can think of
