I need this to work in a low profile machine. Will the sizing work?

Both the ST100SLP & the ST100S will fit in a low profile PC and have brackets for both normal and half-height. One costs less than the other even though they are the exact same thing. Buy the cheaper one.

You're asking if it'll work with Windows NT 4.0?  I *think* the answer is No because I don't think NT4 supports the PCIe bus slots this card requires.  Intel's website does not list NT4 as supported.  It doesn't even list 2000 or XP.

i need a ethernet card for xp model#I1  ours was hit by lightning  yes, it is, would this one showing work? thanks

XP is the operating system I installed it and it worked very well.  You just have to make sure your computer has the correct slot for it.  Enlarge the pic and compare it to your old card or the open slot on your motherboard.  Surprised it fried the card and not your motherboard.
