5 out of 5 eggsFollow up

Pros: Still working flawlessly after 1 year

Amazing Price

Hook it up and forget about it

Cons: Not much of a con, but its very lightweight. Stiffer cables can have their way with it.

Other Thoughts: I've used this for over a year now. It passes a lot of traffic on a daily basis. Things are regularly plugged in and unplugged from it. I've never had an issue at all.

A great buy.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad for the price

Pros: Great price. Serves it's purpose

Cons: Due to the odd location of the powerjack and my odd application of uses for this device, the jack got bumped into one too many times and broke it free from the board. Simple solder job, and was on my way.

Other Thoughts: Although I do blame the detachment of the power jack from the board, on myself... I do not blame the odd placement of the jack itself, on myself. Worth the purchase regardless. Would do it all over again.

5 out of 5 eggsAfter a year

Pros: Cheap, sleek design and it just worked.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: After a year, it still works in the corner. It was the first and last time I saw when I installed it. Will buy again if needed

5 out of 5 eggsEthernet Switch

Pros: I like the design. It's very small and non-intrusive. Does it's job very well.

Cons: Set up was a little confusing. No port is labeled as an "In" port. The instructions say any port can be used as an "In" port; I tried a port and it worked. There is also a graphic that shows how to set up the switch by running a cable from your router to the switch. This completely defeated the purpose of my purchasing the switch since I intended to use it as a means to bypass the router. Placing it before the router in my setup has so far worked just fine.

Other Thoughts: I am running a server on an old PC in my home. My router wasn't allowing me to access the server from outside the network. I only have one Ethernet port in my apartment. The rest of my internet devices have wireless so I wanted the wireless router for everything but the server machine. I run my Ethernet to the switch, the switch runs to the router and the server machine, the wireless routers gives internet to everything else. So far everything is working great.

3 out of 5 eggsone works other died after 7 months

Pros: It is a switch. I bought 2 of these, one of them is still working. I have never had to touch either of them until it stopped working today. I got them really cheap.

Cons: One died after 7 months.

Other Thoughts: I went cheap, got what I deserved probably. Just waiting for the other one to fail.
