Pros: Got this to power 11 poe ip phones. Great solid switch......

Cons: ......but fan is really loud and therefore cannot be placed in a room where someone will be working. You need a server closet for this switch.

Pros: Its a good switch. Has 12 ports of PoE. Low Price and 2 gigabit ports.

Other Thoughts: This switch has a max of 100w between the PoE ports. So thats about 8.3w PER port. NOT 15w as the other reviewer stated. This is important if you want to use PoE Cameras that require a lot of power.

Pros: Easy to install; screw in the handles and mount. Works great without PoE APs.

Cons: The handles were a little annoying to screw in, but eventually got them in.

Pros: Really an excellent switch for the price. Web interface is comprehensive and informative. Fantastic switch considering the moderate price.

Cons: The design of the web interface is a bit dated, cosmetically and technologically. I really would have liked gigabit on all ports, but gigabit + PoE is always very expensive.

Other Thoughts: Probably going to send it back due to 1/2 the ports not supplying power. I really wanted to switch all of our VoIP phones to POE, but there's not enough powered ports.

Pros: I used this switch to replace our current 16 Port PoE switch because we needed more ports. We currently run a SBS 2003 environment with VPN, and also a Trixbox CE PBX System with several AASTRA VoIP phones and a Polycom SoundStation IP 4000. Some of our phones are PoE. Swapping out the switch was instant, no configuration needed and all connections were restored as expected.

Cons: Fan can be a bit loud; since it's in the Server room this really was not a problem for me.

Pros: Cheap POE enabled switch. Does the job.

Cons: Only 12 Ports are POE, but I knew that when ordering it.

Other Thoughts: Running IP phones over this switch. Works just fine.
