This user purchased this item from Newegg

Pros: On sale at Newegg for $50 off. Worked right out of the box with no problems. Is not noisy as some other reviewers have indicated.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I'm not using the mini-GBIC ports.

Pros: Great low level switch perfect for moving files. Buffer is pretty good. If your moving large files or want to ensure your media files are linked up with a high transfer rate connection this is a good product for you.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: The people that are complaining about this not being a 2960 / 3560 / or 3750 need to take a step back and look at the price... Those switches are obviously made for some series business. This is a stand alone product that does it's job.

Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: This is a Lynksys (rebranded by cisco) switch.

Cons: It is not ccna quality and does not require such a knowledge base for use.

Other Thoughts: If you want a Cisco switch with mutiple routed vlans you'll need a 3560 at least... or a 2900 and a layer 3 device. All of which I dont think we can find here
