5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: + Exactly as advertised
+ Cheap
+ Gigabit compatible

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: It's perfect. It's literally the cheapest PCI network adapter I could find, and it has everything I could ever have hoped for and more.

4 out of 5 eggsUpgrade for old motherboard

Pros: Installs easily
Plug n play
LED speed indicators

Cons: Had some issues getting this thing recognized in my Fedora server, but then it just started working. Occasionally a reboot causes the IP address to be something completely out of any configuration. It is assigned a static IP from the dhcp server in the router. Not sure if this is because of this card or something else in the network, but it never did this with the original NIC, so I am bumping an egg for now. If I realize it had nothing to do with the problems I had, I will give it a full 5 eggs again.

Other Thoughts: Again, not sure if it was me doing something wrong, or the card having a hard time setting itself up. It works fine now, but screws its IP up every now and then after a reboot. It looks like I am the only one having issues with this, so I would still recommend getting it and chalk the issues up to the owner/sys admin.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: Cheap replacement for when lightning took out the Network Adapter on my wifes mother board. Had bought a wireless adapter (not from Newegg). The wireless version was spotty at best and lead to endless complaints from my loving wife.

This card has operated in a flawless fashion since I installed it, and NO driver installation was required. I would defiantly buy again if lightning strikes again.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Painless installation.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Wake On Lan

Pros: Not expensive

Cons: No Wake On Lan. No tech support to verify if the card is supposed to support WOL.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works in Linux (Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 32-bit) with no tweaks necessary. I did not use the included CD for any drivers. The machine is an IBM 8133 desktop. dmesg | grep hinted at gigabit working and a simple large file transfer confirmed gigabit speed.

I bought this because the IBM 8133's built-in gigabit adapter doesn't support jumbo frames. This TG-3269 is supposed to support them, but I haven't tried it yet.

Cons: No cons, so far

Other Thoughts: Gotta love those Black Friday deals!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Like it should

Pros: It gets the job done. Firm and well built.

Cons: Only 11mb/s file transfer speeds with smb on a Gigabit link.

Other Thoughts: I originally got this to run OS X on my hackintosh. ;) It does not work very well with Yosemite so I decided to go back to windows and I then installed the card on my wifi only server to make it hard lined. Although it does not run very fast for file transfers, it runs my Minecraft, Media, VOIP and file server all without a hitch. Great Card!

5 out of 5 eggsGood card

Pros: works exactly as you'd expect
windows 7 automatically installs the drivers

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I got this to replace a 10/100 that was built into an older pc that I'm using as a file server. I can copy files from it to my main pc at approximately 87MB per second with the new NIC
