5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ultra-portable

Pros: Looks great, runs fast, amazing battery life, hdmi AND vga, SD slot.
Although the intake is on the bottom, the heat blows out the side making lots of sitting positions infinitely more comfortable. The headphone jack is on the side not the front. The power brick is small and light.

Cons: "Chicklet style" keyboard which has impacted my wpm. The touch pad is about the size of a dollar bill folded twice and the buttons make up part of the case's edge so positioning it up against your chest may cause you to click unintentionally if you aren't careful. The screen border is polished plastic and smudges really easy. The arrow keys are half hight and arranged with the page up/down keys are on either side of the up arrow. If you normally use any of these without looking, be prepared to extra special attention whenever you use them. The power/charge/wireless indicator lights (located along the front edge) are very bright and, in the dark, are annoying to the point where I have to cover them up. The volume up/down is function + up/down arrow which sets them far enough apart that I need both hands to adjust the volume (although the mute button is a convenient F8). The web-cam could be better. The speakers are on the front/bottom and easily blocked.

Other Thoughts: I know that's alot of cons but that really is a comprehensive list of what I don't like about this laptop. I don't think that I would be more satisfied with any other laptop currently available sans the $100 upgrade to core i7.

The keyboard-flex is minor and not noticeable unless you look for it.

Comes with a ton of bloatware and home premium not professional.

I had some issues with the bluetooth and a wireless headset on windows.

The wireless card doesn't play nice with Ubuntu.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid offering, overpriced

Pros: Nice hardware, mostly good build quality.

Cons: Mushy keyboard, horrible bloatware requires a reformat. Extremely over priced for a 'netbook' class machine. Performance isn't going to be your primary concern if your shopping for these products, but charging the same as a full fledged notebook is ridiculous.

5 out of 5 eggsPERFECT!

Pros: Light and easy to carry around. i5 processor with 4GB of DDR3 ram- plenty of speed to do most computing tasks. Very few laptops in this class have a bluetooth - this one does. HDMI performance is excellent. It connected to my 52 inch TV flawlessly. Netflix streaming on the laptop is perfect.

Newegg's expedited delivery was fantastic. I ordered it 9 am EST and had it delivered 10 am EST next morning.

Cons: The touch pad is a wee small but hey its a small laptop. Personally, I found the multigesture touch pad functions annoying - so I turned it off - and have not had any other issues.

Other Thoughts: If you need a laptop primarily to use while traveling - this is it! If you need a desktop replacement go for a 13 inch. For me this is perfect.

4 out of 5 eggsAll but the touch pad

Pros: Everything (but the touchpad) is great on this machine. The screen is nice and high res. The processors is blazing fast compared to an atom. Does everything I need, web, matlab, photoshop, etc. The keyboard is comfortable. It heats up a little on the lap but nothing too extreme.

Cons: The touch pad is really the only down side. Now I don't mind the size, or ever the fact that it fades into the rest of the palm rest. But it has odd texture that gets very sticky if your fingers aren't bone dry. The multi-tough gestures are barely usable. It doesn't register 2 finger scroll quite often and when it does it quite jerky.

Other Thoughts: Even with the touch pad lacking there isn't much else on the market to compete with this guy. Its a well built machine and I'm not disappointing with my purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: Very small and light with a fast processor. It has a beautiful screen, DDR3 ram, and even bluetooth. The HDD is huge, and it's core-i5.

Cons: Keyboard has a small amount of flex to it, and the page up/down keys are oddly placed (in my oppinion), so that you can not use them without actually looking at the keyboard (I type by feel, looking at the screen). Also, the mouse buttons are on the small side and the touchpad is hard to make out against the wrist-rest. I mean, the touchpad is the same shade of grey without a clearly defined border.

Other Thoughts: First, this is NOT a netbook. It is similar only in size, but it is like comparing a Harley Davidson and a scooter in all other respects.
