1 out of 5 eggsDied Within a Month

Pros: Ummm.....We received a full refund. That was nice.

Cons: Runs slow compared to my Asus w/ Windows XP. I wasn't thrilled by the battery life either. Got a blue screen in the first few days when installing Office - I just thought it was a glitch. In a few weeks, it started shutting down. A call to cust svc (they were nice and easy to understand) said the reason was that the 'charger had built up static'. Okaaaaaay. Followed their instructions to 'reset' it, and it seemed all good.

Within an hour, it was doing it again, AND now the screen was starting to scramble. Thank G-d that it was within 30 days of purchase. Called Newegg for a replacement, and the model was out of stock, so we rec'd a full refund. Score!

Decided to spend a bit more and go back to the Asus.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Machine!

Pros: Nimble, quick, light, small, attractive. I'd buy it again if I broke it.

Cons: Trying to think of a "con". Well, here are a few that may not be cons to some people. I find the multi touch feature annoying because if you are accidentally touching the touchpad with one hand while you use your other finger, the multi touch interprets that as zooming rather than mousing.

Other Thoughts: It is Windows 7 starter (not a con to me, but maybe to some). The trackpad button is one big button with no clear demarkation of right from left click. Not a biggie, but I prefer normal buttons. This is a place where style trumped function and it shouldn't.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Fit

Pros: Works great as the Wife's FB/Pic Mobile Command Center, keeps her off my Rig. Weighs nothing ( big plus for me

Cons: Windows Starter is a bit "bleh"....but i knew that coming into the purchase. Speakers could use some improvement, only audible when ur right in front of it.

Other Thoughts: Great product for the web surfer/facebooker type

5 out of 5 eggsgood netbook

Pros: Price ($200); sharp; display; works without any problem; good software (Win 7 starter and Office 2010 starter)

Cons: hard to upgrade. Have to remove keyboard to open back panel. Shareware games. Why would anyone play game on netbook?

Other Thoughts: Win 7 starter is much better than I expected. It has everything I need which includes the calculator, media player 12, and IE 9. Office 2010 starter is good too. Only 10% of the window is reserved for ad. The ad does not slow down the computer.
The junk software (Shareware games and some other useless stuff) were easy to uninstall.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Ever Netbook

Pros: Great netbook, very sleek and light weight, less bloatware which can be cleaned by CC cleaner, LED Screen is very bright.
3 cell battery give @ 2-3 hours backup time.

Wireless is pretty fast.

Cons: Upgrading is little tricky... but with 1gb ddr3 its very fast and with 250 GB HDD u may not need to upgrade any ways

Other Thoughts: Does not come with any cover or Bluetooth built in.
Change desktop background with online available software's and it looks just like home premium.

Comes with MS office 201O trial pre loaded, just add your key and will be all set.

5 out of 5 eggsMy 1st small Lap Top

Pros: Very nice unit, and it is everything that was sad about it. The screen is like HD, and the size of the 10.1 screen don't effect me like I thought it would.

Cons: I really can't say anything bad about this. It is a very fine computer.

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad for what it is

Pros: Little, light weight, cheap

Cons: Speakers aren't impressive, slower than a good laptop

Other Thoughts: We bought this for my husband who pretty much uses a computer to Facebook, watch Netflix, and surf a bit. For the most part it works great for what he needs.

His netbook is no competition for my dual core AMD Turion Ultra powered HP. Since the kids have also been online at night he is unable to stream video until I quite streaming. Normally, if it's just the 2 of us he can sort of watch streaming. Some of it is our internet speed but it never fails, my computer will kill his but his just slows mine down.

For someone who doesn't need really intensive processing power this is a great little machine. We've had it for 3 or 4 months now and everything is still working fine.

If you're looking for a workhorse to do graphics, gaming, programming etc, this isn't it.
