4 out of 5 eggsFree Windows 10 upgrade capable

Pros: Nice screen, Bluetooth keyboard, docking station with 3 USB 3.0 ports and a nice little holder folder, After installing somewhere around 200 updates, you're rewarded with the Windows 10 upgrade app.

Cons: Holder folder blocks high def camera. no pen, no user guide. You have to install way too many updates to get the free Windows 10 upgrade.

Other Thoughts: Needs an 800X450 screen resolution for those of us with tired old eyes.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat tablet, but having issues

Pros: Great screen size, MUCH cheaper than the Surface Pro.
Excellent specs for the cost.
Excellent accessories included.
Solid, rugged design.
Good audio, especially with headphones.
Upgradeable to 8.1 Pro (with some minor hiccups), and eligible for free Windows 10.

Cons: Minor Cons:
Weight. Lighter than my notebook, but still heavy for a tablet. (however the weight is acceptable to me given the rugged design.)

High resolution screen is VERY difficult to "touch-click" on small buttons, especially on web sites. However, there is an app available from Acer website that magnifies buttons to assist with touch clicks.

Didn't realize how much I would miss a touch pad on the keyboard until I started using it. A wireless mouse is now extra bulk in my travel bag.

After only 2 months the touch screen stopped working. Tech support is running me through the hoops (reinstall drivers, now factory reset, etc.). They don't listen that the touchscreen doesn't work in BIOS, which means a hardware issue, not Windows.

"Cloudy" area developing underneath the screen. Pixels all work, but the background is darker in that area. More noticeable at an angle. I believe the LCD panel is separating from the light diffuser.

Other Thoughts: I believe this unit is destined to be returned to Acer for warranty service. Hopefully the experience will be a positive one and will negate the issues mentioned above.

4 out of 5 eggsGood tablet

Pros: Good performance
nice all in one package
great for a new laptop
the stylus, although not a normal stylus, has a really good response.

Cons: i find the tablet case a bit lacking, the keyboard has a weird setup that takes getting used to; i also find the touch screen not as responsive as most other tablets. and dont be fooled by the "stylus" its some gimmicky stylus. very unlike like most stylus pens, i cant even describe it.

Other Thoughts: i've had this tablet for a few months now, over all i'm satisfied with the performance. however, if youre looking for something with a more "tablet" feel, i wouldnt recommend this product. its heavier then most tablets, touch screen is somewhat lacking and the case / keyboard is weird, same for the stylus.

5 out of 5 eggsNice replacement for laptop

Pros: Has everything I wanted. Nice size screen, decent processor, memory, and hd space. Came with accessories that you would have to buy separately with other brands (cover/keyboard combo & docking station). I bought this to replace this:
as I no longer need a full size laptop with gaming capabilities.

Cons: No mousepad on keyboard. Heavier and thicker than most tablets.

Other Thoughts: Could not decide whether or not to purchase Office 2013 to install on this tablet, so I am using the 30 day free trial of Office 365 to see how I like it. So far so good, but you'll have to decide which is more cost effective for your situation.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Fast
Came with a faster 3337u instead of a 3317u
The keyboard case

Cons: The screen retains images for a few minutes if that image was set there for more than a few minutes. usually around the edges. Not a big problem as the image retention is temporary.

Other Thoughts: Great tablet for the price

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: This is a complete laptop replacement!
*** It came with i5-3337U processor *** which is one step better than advertised 3317U.
Graphics speed is good enough to play games in 1920*1080 resolution and low-mid settings.
Fan remains quiet on full load.

Cons: No mouse or touch pad included (just a pen for the touch screen)
No 4G modem.
No overclocking features.

Other Thoughts: I have to agree with Nolan's review pretty much on everything

5 out of 5 eggsBest of Both Worlds!

Pros: 1) Beautiful full HD (1920x1080) screen.
2) Weighs only a half-pound more than iPads and other similar tablet devices, yet it is a FULL Windows 8 tablet
3) i5 Processor ensures you have enough go-juice.
4) Battery life is pretty sweet, sitting at around 5 hours with the brightness turned up and moderate use. Can squeeze up to 8 or 9 hours out of it if you turn the screen brightness down!
5) Comes with so many accessories! You get the case with the built-in Bluetooth keyboard (which comes with a charging cable for use when out of battery), the docking station (which gives you 2 extra USB 3.0 ports and a way to solidly support it), and a stylus pen.
6) Speakers are decent and pump out good sound for being so small!
7) Not a ton of bloatware, took only a couple minutes to uninstall the worst of it, most of which were links to other sites and Office advertisements.
8) Brushed aluminum back helps keep it looking sexy and clean, as it doesn't pick up fingerprints.
9) Videocard is integrated Intel 4000 graphics, but even with that you can still play modest games on it with the settings turned down. It even plays Minecraft with decent framerates in a large world! Just be sure you have a mouse to use.
10) 128GB SSD really makes a difference with load times and has a lot more usable space than the 64 GB version (tablet shows up with about 90GB of free space to work with on the 128GB SSD version).

Cons: 1) Windows 8. I hate the Metro interface and find myself in the classic view almost 100% of the time. Learning curve is steep, and people who are used to Windows 7 or XP will most likely give up in favor of what is familiar. Had to download 3rd party "start menu" app just for easy access to control panel and many other features. Customization of the Metro scroll bar is difficult and not as intuitive as you may think.
2) Speakers at on bottom lip of tablet. This is fine when you have it in the dock or propped up on a hard surface, as the sound bounces off the surface it is sitting on. But when out of the dock and laying on your lap or in your hand, sound isn't quite as good. Front-facing speakers would have been better.
3) Micro-HDMI port is kind of annoying, and it only comes with a Micro-HDMI to VGA adapter. With all these other extras they should have included a Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter instead, since VGA does not carry audio through it and you would have to output sound through the on-board speakers using VGA, which kind of defeats half the purpose of HDMI (the other half being VGA is an analog connection).
4) As I mentioned in Pros, the graphics performance leaves something to be desired, but this is a tablet not a desktop replacement system. Just be aware you won't be playing Skyrrim or Mass Effect 3 with all the bells and whistles turned up. Although Skyrim will run with things set to medium or lower.
5) Chiclet-style keyboard, though I knew this going in. Great in a pinch and for some on-the-fly gaming sessions, but for prolonged word-processing or extended gaming you might want to have a larger keyboard in the wings on standby for when your fingers start getting cramped.
6) First tablet arrived with left speaker blown. RMA was painless as usual, though.

Other Thoughts: This is a great tablet. For the $ you get all the accessories you will ever need (except a mouse) and a machine that is capable enough to be used as a laptop for working people. This was a gift for someone who WANTED a tablet, but NEEDED a Laptop/Notebook. This solves both problems nicely, not giving up too much in either area. Acer really outdid themselves here and I happily recommend anyone who is stuck in a similar situation where functionality and performance are paramount.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Runs great, faster than my laptop, and with the included accessories it pretty much can be a laptop. Windows 8 is amazing once you learn all the new things, no where near as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and I even use a mouse a majority of the time.

Cons: Price. We always want cheaper.

Other Thoughts: If you have the money, I would definitely say get it. Work or play it works well.
