Great netbook
- Pros: 1) Battery life is unbeatable.
2) Quality build.
3) 2-finger touchpad works great.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: It's pointless to talk about performance in netbooks, since most of them are basically similar (have the N280, 1Gb RAM and 160-250 Gb). But ASUS is great in battery life, hours more than its competitors. Also, you can feel the quality of the materials from the get go, somethinig that the MSI Wind unfortunately lacks. On top of that, no excessive amounts of garbage software coming with it, the little it has you can get rid of it quickly (I like the ASUS interface, though).
I've read some reviewers complaining about speed and performance, but that's because they compare the 1005HA against a full laptop... of course it's slower. Any netbook would be. The whole idea behind the netbook is to use it for simple jobs (web, e-mail, some word processing). If you want to run AutoCAD, edit video or something like that, get a full laptop or even better, a desktop, and throw all the hardware there.
Great PC BAD POWER PACK
- Pros: Great looking, small and has enough power to run all my applications. Runs great.
- Cons: Power supply is bad. Failed in less than 2 weeks. Getting another is hard.
- Other Thoughts: There should be laws in place to stop them from shipping and selling these PC's until they resolve the known bad power supply issue.

solid netbook- touchy adapter
- Pros: once you understand the limitations of a netbook, i don't think you can do better than the 1005ha.
- Cons: arrives with 1gb ram. (quick and easy to make 2gb).
Power adapter problems (easy fix see below)

There is a known power adapter issue with these machines. If you leave the adapter plugged when you don't have the netbook attached the power adapter can overheat and shut itself off. An easy fix is to unplug the adapter after charging the netbook or if it overheats leave the adapter in your fridge for 20 min, then try it.
I hear getting a new adapter from asus is very slow.
