Pros: plays games well. adobe flash. screen is crystal clear sd slot.

Cons: the only con I have is the first one I received had a problem charging. It was within the warranty period so Newegg replaced no problem.

Other Thoughts: I also got the keyboard which gave me more battery life. Great!!

Pros: i don't usually do refurbs but it worked fine.

Pros: Fast, hi-def, unscratchable!
In 1 year of the 4 kids constantly stealing this tablet when I am home, they finally put the first tiny screen scratch in it by dropping a leaded crystal glass dish on it... Impressive!

Cons: Soft aluminum body dents and twists easily over time.
Not as fast as the Prime, but still kicks my buddy's iPad's in the crotch.

Other Thoughts: When I initially bought the tablet, there were some charging issues so I immediately sent it back to get it fixed by the manufacturer. This was costly, but I had no problem with it if it meant fixing my just purchased tablet. After getting it fixed it worked like a charm, but now little after a month of my last review it refuses to charge again.
I am very careful with my tablet, so I'm not sure why it's not charging but I don't want to keep dealing with a faulty tablet. I'm not sure if the customer support team checked the tablet thoroughly or if I just have bad luck with this product.
I need this tablet for a trip I'm taking soon, so instead of dealing with Asus customer service again and worrying about the delivery fee and time, I took it to a local store to have it checked there and when I get a diagnosis of what's wrong with it. I will either have it fixed there or just sell it off and buy something else.
It's a great tablet when it works, but I don't have time nor patience to deal with faulty charging problems.
I've purchased refurbished items before and they all worked fine, but this one is just causing more problems.

Pros: Backplate=not only helps temp but it also protect the card from any accidental physical damage
Superclock =No further Overclocking needed!
Price=i just saved 60 bucks !instead of buying asus !
Noise= quiet in idle

Cons: Noise in Far Cry 3 = i need to install the Evga precision x(fan controls) to reduce my temp 80 to 70 but it added some noise well maybe the far cry 3 is just a very loaded game

Pros: Great when it works.

Cons: This is the second one I got. The first came DOA. The second worked from 1/13/13 to 2/21/13. Absolutely no signs of life. Newegg took care of that except it cost me the shipping.

Other Thoughts: NEVER EVER buy refurbished from newegg or anybody else for that matter. Refurbished should mean someone elses problem (not fixed properly). Worked in the refurbished business as tech. It is not about fixing, it is about how many can you throw out the door and how quick. That my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Pros: Great size. Average speed. Great picture.

Cons: Turns off and wont turn back on unless you plug in the charger. Headphone Jack and sound quits working at times! All this started after the 45 days of purchase!! So buyer beware!!

Pros: Good battery life
sturdy built yet lightweight
memory expansion slot
easy navigation
easy to customize

Cons: somewhat slow start-up time (problem for the impatient)
bulky (not really a problem for me but might be an issue for someone else)

Other Thoughts: Initially there were problems with charging the tablet and the headphone jack. Though after contacting Asus customer service, I sent it back to get it repaired and now it works great!
As far as software goes, its running android honeycomb, which you can update to ice cream sandwich, so you have access to all the apps you will need.
It runs smoothly, but I haven't tried to run too many apps at once. Its great for the basics, email, video streaming, e-reader and general tablet apps. Its good for taking notes with a stylus or using the keyboard dock without any lag.
If you already have a desktop, this is a great traveling buddy for when you need be on the go, plus it affordable compared to other tablets

Cons: Just so you know.Asus responded to my review of this tablet and in that response they indicated that I should contact them and they will replace battery for me for much less money then if I purchased battery myself and replace it(im IT tech and run my own IT bussiness so I have no problem doing it).I dont know if tney think Im an idiot but i could get battery online for about $60 and listen to this they offer to replace it for $150.Wow.What bargain.It is so great deal.Remind me again how much this tablet go for now ?Oh right $239 .
Conclusion:
When buying this tablet for $239 keep in mind that Asus will rob you of another $150 to replace battery which will fail sooner then you think(little over year in both our tablets ).Learn from my mistake.By the way im in a middle of replacing hard drive in 3 month old asus laptop and so far its been 3 weeks since I was told that they are shipping new hard drive and they just ignoring my emails in which i demend explanation. So now you know how asus does bussines.I read one comment that maybe asus should stick with making motherboars because they fail in every other field
