5 out of 5 eggsHave owned this about a year now

Pros: Bought it when it was on sale for $500 and I must say it was quite a steal. Used mostly for gaming I can tell you that for the price you cannot compare with any other laptops. Dedicated card means better performance. 6GB of ram is uncommon below $800 laptops. Made of metal not cheap plastic.

Cons: The processor is the throttle of the notebook. I wouldn't suggest using this for video rendering.

Other Thoughts: for $500 you couldn't get any better without using a desktop.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: *6 GB of memory (the one i bought came with)
*Looks nice
*Large screen
*Fast
*Quad core
*Good graphic card (Runs minecraft, tf2, L4d2, Civ 5, BF3(decent) well
*not heavy
*full keyboard

I bought this for college and it has done me well. It has run every game I have thrown at it. Plenty of power. No problems with it yet.

Cons: * Advertised a 500 GB hard drive only came with 420 usable space
* Advertised a 3hr-4hr battery life, maybe on standby, but usable its about an 1hr 30
*webcam not good quality
*When first received it would randomly freeze but problem was fixed.
*color is a light purple......

Other Thoughts: Bought this laptop for about 580$ with a 3 yr warranty. If your looking for an inexpensive laptop with good gaming potential then this laptop is for you.

1 out of 5 eggsA travesty of Customer Service

Pros: Apparently great features for the cost.

Cons: The most terrible customer service experience I have ever had. I purchased a refurb from the Lenovo outlet. I suggest nobody else ever do this ever. The first unit had intense graphical and heat issues and I sent it in, on my own dime, for repair. After a mobo replacement the problem persisted, and the unit was returned to me. After hours more on hold I was able to get a replacement sent to me, which has been working the past few weeks. That is, until it began randomly hanging just the other night.

This is not to mention the awful video drivers Lenovo provides which make it nearly impossible to utilize that shiny GPU which is included.

Other Thoughts: I've been on hold with this company for over an hour now in an attempt to return this unit. Don't waste your time.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst review!

Pros: Nice looking laptop, with more than 'good enough' graphics and processor, run extremely nice, no noise, no heat, I though the screen is going to be bad as the laptops on the price range of this one and is not the screen is bright with a good contrast.
My primary use for this laptop is data management, but is awesome for multimedia (play 1080p with no problems) and some light gaming like WOW gives me 58 average fps on low settings.
I haven't tried other video games but im sure it handle most modern and older games well.
Battery is excellent.. 4.3 Hours battery life surfing the web.. my last laptop was a core i7 and that gave me just 2 hours!!

Cons: so far none.. feels well constructed :)

Other Thoughts: If you want this laptop for a basic task, this give you more than the basics you expect form a laptop. Business person, college kids this is a must have toy it handle everything for a reasonable price.
