Pros: Great notebook

Cons: It fell apart after I used it way too much? So none, really.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Price is low.

Cons: Left hinge came loose withing 6 weeks. When I open it, ut lifts part of the casing with it. It appears to be a common problem with this product.

Lots of bloatware

While the price is good, you get what you pay for. Beware.

Other Thoughts: Would not recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsNice laptop Nice price

Pros: Snappy machine, crisp screen. Can't beat it at $349.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Went out on a limb and bought the cheapest laptop Newegg had, to replace the one my wife lost when our house burned up. I verified that this CPU supports H/W virtualization, so am going to buy one for myself, and put another 4GB of RAM in it. Virtualbox baby....

2 out of 5 eggsnot that good

Pros: the low price I bought it for ($350)

Cons: looks and feels very cheap. the touchpad is not smooth and has a textured feel to it, causing a severely lagged response from the friction of dragging the finger over it. the overall laptop design is terrible. the speaker is on the BOTTOM of the laptop, making the audio sound muffled.
the dvd drive, power port, USB port, and the mic/headphone jack are all on the SAME SIDE of the laptop, and it's annoying how the drive and the cords get in the way of each other.
the power cable is too short.
the Windows Experience Index rating is 3.9.
processor = 3.9,
RAM = 5.6,
graphics (windows aero desktop performance) = 4.6,
gaming graphics = 5.6,
hard disk = 5.9.

Other Thoughts: I needed something cheap, and this seems to work just fine for the price I paid for it. don't expect anything special from this laptop. I haven't tried gaming or anything. I experience a lagged response when typing in a browser, but that might be an Internet Explorer 9 problem.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Laptop!

Pros: The price is the first kicker, really a helper with pushing me onto getting this laptop, you get a lot more then what you may expect. Next is the specs, a 320GB Hard Drive and 4GB of RAM, the 1.65 GHz processor is nothing to worry about with the Dual-Core power. I can play plenty of very graphical games on it with no problems or graphic lag. Everything else like the webcam and mobility are just a bonus to this great computer!

Cons: The only thing I have to say in this section is the battery capacity, it seems relatively short compared to others I've seen, the Lenovo Energy Management helps you increase it which is a plus. The battery shouldn't degrade the rest of the computer in general though.

Other Thoughts: Being my first computer running Windows 7, it was a fantastic buy. Great specs, great price, its all a win-win.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Laptop!

Pros: Very light weight compared to my old HP. Even without an SSD this laptop boots very quickly and runs smooth. The price was unbeatable as well. In the future I will upgrade to 8 gigs of RAM which should make this laptop last for quite a while.

Cons: None so far!

4 out of 5 eggsNot fpr serious gaming

Pros: Nice screen, nice keyboard, nicer touch pad than more expensive i5 lenovo models, light weight, runs cool, full numb pad

Cons: loud fan, no diablo 3, didn't like my router's wireless N, webcam is .3 megapixel... really?

Other Thoughts: Whoever said this computer will run diablo 3 is full of it. When I connected to my wireless N network the download speed was .4mb and upload was 3mb. I disabled 802.11N on my router (54mb 802.11G only) it fixed the download issue. Other than that it's perfectly fine for normal computing. It's snappy for web browsing, pulling pictures off of digital cameras and office applications. This is a great bargain for a full featured laptop with plenty of practical applications. If all you plan on using it for email, facebook, pictures, music, browsing, and light gaming, I would not hesitate to get one of these.

4 out of 5 eggs4/5 were good

Pros: Own a retail store, bought five of these. One had a solid line down the screen. Newegg is wonderful of course so they'll be sending me a new one soon. But its something to know. The Lenovo ideapads aren't nearly as good as the Lenovo thinkpads. Instead for the money, I would maybe buy a T400 used from Newegg. Those are amazing computers

Cons: Cons one had the solid line. They feel extremely cheap. Screen only opens so far, but then again that's something most manufacturers do now a days. Lenovo products have become a hit or miss lately. It often seems that the factories don't actually turn them on before letting them leave. Even the thinkpad Edges I've noticed are hit or miss. Some just don't work, others do. And if they do work, they stay working for a long time.

Other Thoughts: Lenovo is a chinese company, purchased IBM's computer division in I think 2006. All Thinkpads, Thinkcentres etc have been made by lenovo since. And I think they have been doing a good job. American tech support, quick repairs etc, are all benefits of buying THINK brand items. Now idea brand items gets you less wonderful support, and you often have to pay to ship it to them. ITs something to know!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Laptop for the $$$

Pros: PRICE.
Lots of features for what you pay for.

Was a bit bigger than I thought it would be...very large bright vibrant screen. Very snappy system too. Runs WoW at mid settings at about 30-50FPS. Going to try to play Diablo 3 on it later tonight. Will update if it performs poorly, but I doubt it.

Feels solid and well built. The screen hinges arent floppy, and the texture is rather interesting. Battery life is average.

Windows experience Index: 3.8 (Aero GFX Lowest)
Gets a 5.5 on 3D Gaming.

Cons: Bloatware, but that was all removed in about 2 minutes....so none really. Not a screaming fast system but its ALOT of bang for your buck.

5 out of 5 eggsNew Laptop

Pros: Affordable, cooler running laptop. Works for Diablo 3 (although friend on much better computer said it looked like I was lagging)

Cons: nothing fancy, it is as advertised.
