2 out of 5 eggsSad..

Pros: Great speakers, nice build, amazing keyboard.

Cons: Dedicated GPU almost always doesn't work. No matter the game, (saints row, minecraft) it doesn't run. Giving me a complete awful experience. The only time it will run is in UDK. I bought this laptop for the GPU - which doesn't work. And the CPU isn't very good... Just..awful..
And what sucks? I noticed it AFTER the return warranty EXPIRED.

Other Thoughts: I'm disappointed, I have tried everything. I even disabled the integrated and tried to force it to run the dedicated.
-----
Other then that, there was some bloat ware. (most of lenovo background PROGRAMS that nearly impossible to stop)

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Amazing

Pros: Everything is fast
Plays games with ease
Every day tasks take less time

Cons: Slow Hard drive, I immediately upgraded to a SSD, ever since then, WOW!

Other Thoughts: I can't believe they discontinued these, this was the best laptop I've ever owned for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value!

Pros: Bought this for my wife after she decided that Macs are overpriced. She was a mac user for most of her life. There is no arguing that Apple makes quality products...but dang they are expensive! This Lenovo on the other hand is a superb value! I really did my research on this one and 6 months later my wife is very happy with her "Lenny". She has steam running and can jump into a game, edit photos, store loads of files, etc. Great all-around laptop. Highly recommended for the average user!

Cons: Typical crapware installed. Nothing an OSRI can't fix.

Other Thoughts: A truly excellent laptop.

5 out of 5 eggsReally. incredibly good deal.

Pros: Really fast. nice looking, video performance is surprisingly better than i thought and it pretty much was everything i looking for on a laptop and better.

Cons: -MCafee is garbage.
-I can't separate from it now. (totally adictive)

Other Thoughts: This is my first time buying on Newegg and i am really satisfied with the shipment and how my order went in general. I think i was the very last person buying this laptop (before the "discontinued" thing) and i am incredibly thankful for that.

5 out of 5 eggsBang for your Buck

Pros: Quad core, 6BG RAM, and dual graphics cards for 500 dollars! This pretty much sums it up. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The resolution is clear and can play most of my games on high settings.

Cons: The right and left click on the mouse pad can be difficult to use at times. Basically it's not responsive if you push the towards the middle of the two buttons. Not a problem if you just push the right or left click towards the far left or right.

Other Thoughts: I've seen some complaining in other reviews about the purple/metal look and feel to the computer. I personally LOVE the slight purple hue and metallic feel. It gives the computer a very unique look. Also, if you are looking to game with this laptop I would strongly recommend using a mouse with it. The mouse pad is just fine for browsing the web but not for gaming.

Overall a GREAT product. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a laptop but wants to game while they're at college or anywhere on the go.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect balance

Pros: Easily upgradable- HDD and RAM are up front and ready when you unscrew the half dozen screws and pop off the back plastic panel.

Quality performance- Runs Starcraft 2 on Low settings at ~90 FPS, more than adequate for happy gaming.

Great keyboard- keys are spaced out, and "clickier" than most other laptop keyboards I have encountered. Not loud, but certainly more haptic.

Multitouch touchpad- I've gotten addicted to two finger scrolling.

Cons: Cannot boot from SD card (though you can chainload from USB using bootloader tools)

Takes a little more tweaking of drivers and settings than other laptops I've worked with.

Other Thoughts: The video drivers are kinda finicky. The Lenovo provided drivers are 6 months old. However, I found that completely uninstalling all the video drivers, running a driver sweeper type utility, and installing the Lenovo drivers, then the newest AMD provided drivers WITHOUT REBOOTING (install both in one session), will get both the Lenovo-specific stuff as well as the latest and greatest video drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Laptop

Pros: Excellent value. Excellent computing power for a laptop - I can run Diablo3 without issue. Compact size. Good looking screen with good resolution. Keyboard has good feel to it. Generally has the feel of a high quality product.

Cons: Laptop lid slams itself shut in such a way that it makes you cringe, as if you're breaking it (though it seems to be fine) so you end up closing it carefully. I reformatted the computer because I replaced the HD with a SSD and it was kind of a pain to find all the drivers - Lenovo has two video drivers on two different locations on their site and one would not work. Lenovo tech support didn't know what was up either, though I eventually figured it out. The keyboard layout is nice because it has a number pad to the right of the qwerty, but at the same time it makes it harder to find the enter key and the arrow keys by feel because they are not at the far right side of the keyboard, like my other laptops. I don't like that the mouse button has no physical separation between the left and right click because it makes it harder to feel for it, but that's the same on other laptops as well so maybe it doesn't bother you.

Other Thoughts: A great laptop. Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop for cheap

Pros: This thing has more ports than you know what to do with.

Not everyone likes the way the keyboard is laid out, but I find it easier to type on than other laptops I've used in the past.

Quick start up. Laptop can go from off to logged into Windows in less than 80 seconds.

Cons: My only big con is that battery only has a life of about 4 hours.

Bloatware. I fully expected it, like everyone who buys a laptop or pre-built desktop computer, so removing it wasn't a huge issue.

Laptop does have a purplish sheen to it, but my school's colors are purple and gold so I just pass it off as related to that.

Viewing angles aren't the greatest but they're good enough.

Other Thoughts: Disclaimer: This is the first laptop that I've ever owned.

I probably could have gotten away with getting a screen that is a little smaller but in no way is that the fault of Lenovo or Newegg.

I listed more con's than pro's but the cons don't bug me enough to make me regret buying the laptop at all.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Very nice laptop love the screen the A6 3240 runs everything i throw at it same for the 6650m/6520g crossfire I run everything at native res 1366x768 and i dont use AA or AF unless i feel it needs it which most games dont another thing you should remember is the gpu drivers dont like directx 10 so disable anything to do with it ingame or youll artifact
Fallout 3/New Vegas Ultra settings maxed runs fine to me
Crysis runs beautifully on everything medium smooth 30-50
L4d 1/2 maxed everything
Elder scrolls series everything maxed (even skyrim runs surprisingly well maxed :D though i do have shadows on medium thats all i turned down)
Knights of the Old Republic 1/2 (the awesome ones not the MMO :P) Runs decently not very optimized the newer the hardware you try to run them on the worse they run :D
Devil May Cry 4 (dx9) performance test gives an A ranking so much better than my old desktop :D
Bioshock beautifully everything maxed turn off Directx 10
thats really all so far

Cons: Driver support. This is the big one.

Other Thoughts: Im loving this laptop definitely try Lenovo from now on also i think i bought the last one for 479 cause i bought it went back to here right after and it was sold out guess my friend wont be getting one after all :D

4 out of 5 eggsGreat,

Pros: Price point (got mine at 499)
Graphics (can run BF3 at low settings with passable FPS, although I wouldn't recommend competitive leagues with it, still fun though)
Runs Diablo 3 on high graphics superbly.
Will own anything made by Intel because of the GFX card, Intel HD is a joke.
Very portable
Good battery life
Expandable RAM
High OC potential
LOVE the HDMI out, easily connects to my 42" 1080p TV and runs full 1920x1080 resolution flawlessly for watching movies.
Fast wifi card

Cons: Processor is AMD.
Drivers for video aren't perfect, but they work.
Every once in a while it'll freeze, but it unfreezes in several seconds, still annoying, its primarily a cause of video drivers hanging.

Other Thoughts: Great buy, I dock one egg for the above cons plus I could've gotten an identical laptop by ASUS that I was waiting to get in stock for a month. I emailed and asked, they said they had no idea if and when it'd be in. So I went ahead and bought this one for 499, but in two days during shipping the ASUS came in stock for 420, which is absolutely unbeatable for its components.
