How good is the processor? I read that the Core i7 is much better...

Hey, I just purchased this laptop. I have to say, it is very fast, and I haven't had it for more than a few weeks, so I cannot say much. Yet, I do have a CAD program, music production program, and other engineering software loaded on there, and I essentially never see a delay. The i7, I have heard, is certainly faster, but I don't think it would be an effective difference. The only thing about this computer I don't like, is that the sound output sucks. There is no high or low EQ, just kind of quiet, bland sound.

Regardless, it's a sturdy computer, built from a company with a great reputation. The AMD A10 is great.

Is it 64 bit or 32 bit?

It is 64-bit, laptops that were made later than 2009 pretty much all have 64-bit.

Question 3

A couple months after I got this laptop, a bunch of dead pixels appeared. I was wondering if my warranty (if there is any) could have this replaced. If not, would replacing the screen fix the problem?

The group of dead pixels is slowly getting larger. Please help!
