Is this a refurb and if so, is it a factory refurb?

This is not a refurb. It came in a new box and all parts were 100% new. I've only had the laptop for two weeks but it seems to work fine considering the cost. My other laptop is an i7 with a SSD as the primary drive so it's hard to compare speed and other factors.

Will this have the capability of upgrading to Windows 10?

I have bought 6 of these laptops in the last month. I just upgraded the one I have left to Windows 10. It loaded fine and is free, but it takes 3 to 4 hours to do the upgrade. It downloads about 3 gigs to do the upgrade.

it comes with shortcut to purchase office and then it can install for you. But Office license is Neither installed Nor included.

if you are not a die hard microsoft office person, you can try Free Libre Office. or OPEN office.

I can count three: two on the left near the side of the laptop opposite the hinges, and one on the right side in the same general location.

We've found the wireless connection to be unremarkable in a good way.  The laptop stays at 5 bars when located 1-2 rooms away from its paired wifi router.

Its not a touch screen display.  According to the specifications page, the weight is: 4.62 lbs.  This seems accurate.

Does the keypad have back lite or LED?  Can you type in very dim light or in the dark?

The keyboard is not backlit in any way.  You probably need some kind of light source to type in the dark, as to how bright that light source has to be, that would depend upon how good your vision is.
