5 out of 5 eggsOEM, comes just like new

Pros: Ordered this to go with a Sandy Bridge i5 2400S I had lying around and put into a build. You get what you pay for, it is just like any other Intel stock cooler.

Was worried about buying "refurbished" but it came good as new with the pre-applied thermal solution as it normally would. Clicks right into my board as usual and keeps my processor cool.

Cons: It works as intented, quality OEM product. If you are going to be overclocking or using something like an i7 processor get an aftermarket cooler.

Not as much a "con" as something just interesting; when the cooler came, it came with the full Intel CPU box (minus the CPU of course), Came with the manual and sticker as well.

Other Thoughts: Quality OEM purchase. Works as intended.

1 out of 5 eggsIntel Stock heatsink/fun

Pros: Free w/CPU, fan itself is decent quality.

Cons: This is one of the dumbest products in the history of mankind. Hold on a heatsink with tiny little plastic pins that pop off at about half the force required to actually hold the heatsink to the CPU. This does not work. Stay away from this defective by design product! I'm sick of seeing computers that randomly lock up that have all four of the pins pulled out.

Other Thoughts: My only guess is they want to blow out CPU's so you buy more. DEC used to have studs coming off their CPU's you torqued to I believe 10oz/in.

4 out of 5 eggsOk for what it is

Pros: It works good and isn't loud. Even the stock CPU paste on the bottom of it was virgin.

Cons: It is a small low profile fan, this means it needs to spin fast. This means it isn't silent.

Other Thoughts: For my build I really wanted something very quiet. This isn't like loud, but it is the loudest part of my build. I wish I'd have spent like $30 for something really quiet like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU Fan

Pros: Intel stock fan is under rated. It's adequate in most uses when not over clocking. The pins aren't that difficult to install on the first use.

Cons: A lot of PC builders buy a retail CPU and use an aftermarket cooling fan. They then sell the stock cooling fan which is why they come in a used CPU box. They often sell the unused fans on e**y at a fraction of the price here with free shipping.

Other Thoughts: The Rosewill RCX-Z300 fan is my favorite

5 out of 5 eggsdoes what it is supposed to.

Pros: keeps the CPU from turning to melted metal

Cons: It's not fancy? I guess it could be quieter.
