4 out of 5 eggsIt's heavy!

Pros: 1. Quality
2. Nice design
3. Easy to install

Cons: 1. Quite heavy

Other Thoughts: I'm worried that this heatsink will warp my motherboard given how heavy it is.

5 out of 5 eggsBig. Works perfectly.

Pros: Includes good heatsink grease.
Silent at lowest settings.

Cons: If there was a con it would be that it is huge but I expected that.

Other Thoughts: Fits in NZXT H440 case (was a little afraid it wouldn't)

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing cooler, but very very large

Pros: This fan is a beast. I am using it with an overclocked 5820k running at 3.9 ghz. Idles are around 23C-27C, and under load rarely goes over 54C (on an overclocked CPU). When the 5820k was at stock (3.30ghz), I was getting idles of 19-21C! While idle and under load it is almost silent. The dual fan and heatsink setup create a great airflow, in conjunction with a front case intake fan and a rear exhaust fan its amazing.

Fan is very easy and intuitive to install. No back plate, the new X-99 boards handle cooler attachment very well. You just screw mounting brackets in, then 2 plates on top, secure those and fan gets attached right on. Easiest after-market high end cooler install I have had in years.

Cons: Only con is SIZE. The cooler is massive, literally 1/2 the size width wise of a full atx motherboard. It completely eclipses all the memory slots. If your memory is extra tall, you might have issues.

Other Thoughts: Luckily they are very open about this and their site even provides guides and compatibility with boards and memory. Before buying make sure you are diligent about its height, motherboard compatibility in relation to its size, and if it will be able to fit in your case with side closed. Trust me if you are not a fan of water-cooling this is the next best thing and is worth the time to check if it will fit!

5 out of 5 eggsRecycled to new computer

Pros: Had on a Gigabyte X79 G1.Assassin 2...

Reused on my new Gigabyte X99 Gaming G1 WiFi on a Intel i7-5960x. Fits with GPU (EVGA Titan Super Clocked w/ back plate) in slot 1 after bending the fan spring clips flat next to the GPU without touching.

Cons: I have low dollar Crucial memory which fits fine under the cooler right now. Will just have to be sure to get low profile memory when upgrading.

Other Thoughts: After reading somebody's suggestion here, I have the 2 fans on the OUTSIDE of the fin towers blowing in instead of one fan blowing the heat from one tower into the other tower. The case fans blow the heat upwards through the middle of the towers. Works great! The X99 motherboard has 2 CPU fan headers and I have each fan on it's own header.

5 out of 5 eggsso big.

Pros: Max cpu temp ive seen after bench tests and stress testing with various programs/games is 59.5 C (the fans didnt even have to speed up more than about 800 RPM)

very straight-forward installation and the included thermal glue appeared to be of high quality.

printed instructions were easy to follow.

Cons: So this thing is huge. please make sure you visit Nactua's website and follow the links to verify the motherboard your pairing with this fan is compatible. with my mother board i had to be very careful to install the ram because i did this after i had already secured the heat sink and fans in place. (you might want to look into installing components that will be around this heat sink prior to putting the glue and screws in)

Other Thoughts: this is my very first custom built personal computer, and im very pleased i went with this fan.

I didnt put this in the cons section because its most likely due to operator error...that being said: Im pairing this with an ASUS P9X79 WS motherboard, and i got a CPU fan error until i went into the bios and set the low cpu fan alarm setpoint below 200 rpm. no worries though, never had temps get above 60c.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Keeps my cpu at super low temps, even when under heavy loads. Also the fans rpm can be adjusted easily which is very helpful. All in all a great heatsink, just be ready for how massive this is :)

Cons: Besides having to buy a mount for my LGA 1155 mobo, none!

5 out of 5 eggsCool and Quiet

Pros: This keeps my I7 3770 very cool! Had a Corsair H80I, but it didn't keep my CPU anywhere near these temps, and it's quieter!

Cons: NONE at all!

3 out of 5 eggsGood temps, but GIGANTIC

Pros: Great CPU temps for air cooling, easy install on LGA2011

Cons: HUGE, huge and huge. This bad boy also has compatibility issues with certain Asus motherboards. My Rampager Extreme kept throwing cpu fan errors. This has been acknowledged by both parties and the solution to shut off monitoring is, in my opinion, unacceptable. Did I mention that this thing is huge? It raised the temps of my GPU substantially due to restricted airflow in my case. In the end though, the CPU error was the reasoning for me to return this product in favor if liquid cooling.

5 out of 5 eggsBest cooling fan ever

Pros: So quite while it operates, it has beat my water cooling system off. Pull and push fan design works great on my Xeon processor. While controlled temperature with all the heat pipe with it. Highly recommended!!!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Price is a bit high, but well worth it!
