Swans M200 2CH Hi-end Multimedia Speaker Pair

- Perform flawlessly
- Bright Highs, decent lows and mid-range sounds
- Sound like speakers that belong to a stereo system

Other Thoughts: This is one great pair of speakers. I've now had them for 8 years and they are still performing flawlessly. I mainly use them to play music and the audio from movies on my computer. Everyone is impressed by the sound.

Pros: the high end is unbelievable, crisp, clear sounding music. no interference or static or noise.

Cons: i find the bass a bit muffled. not as clear as the treble. even when adjusting the bass control, does not make a difference.

Other Thoughts: if swan can make the bass better this would be a perfect system. as it is, it is still a great sounding set of speakers!

Pros: Great sound while they worked.

Cons: Experienced the same left speaker issue as other reviewers. Was unable to exchange them and have not had any luck contacting the manufacturer. It appears to be a problem with the internal amplifier.

Other Thoughts: I will see if someone can repair them or I'll have to use them as expensive door stops. If they would have continued working properly, I would have loved them...

Pros: Good sound, when volume is turned up loud.

Cons: I sent back one pair because the left speaker was on at a constant volume. This pair, the left speaker has no sound at all unless the volume is turned up past halfway. I am stuck with these because the problem developed after 30 days (but I've had them less than 6 months).

Other Thoughts: Looks like I am at least the third person to have this problem here in the newegg reviews....

Pros: These speakers are the best sound you will ever get at a $200 budget, maybe even $300. They don't do anything wrong, sound-wise.

Cons: Don't really do anything special, but what do you expect for $200? This is a great pair of speakers.

Other Thoughts: Make sure to leave the Treble and Bass knobs exactly in the middle for the best sound quality -- they really shouldn't even be there.

Pros: Good sound. Was.

Cons: After 2 weeks left speaker become quiet. Looks like problem with internal amplifier, same as reviewer below.

Other Thoughts: Total weight is around 32 lb, so shipping back will cost me at least $xx.
Also, no response from manufacturer customer support.

Pros: Sounds great. Plenty loud enough for me

Cons: You will have to deal with regular speaker cables, not quite as user friendly as the other multimedia speakers where you just plug it in. These speakers are non-refundable.

Pros: sound quality great. Clear, without any extra colors and distortions. Deliver sound as is (its as plus and minus)

Cons: Large than expected and req. more space on table.
No headphone connector. Original cables and power cord are too short.
Bass little bit “bubbling”, midrange details not perfect.

Other Thoughts: I'll not reccomend it as replacement for regular (cheap) PC speakers.

Its overkill.

It great especially as targeted -as sound monitors or pair musical speakers fo small/medium room or kitchen.

Pros: Sound and imaging while they worked.

Cons: After less than 3 weeks they developed an extreme channel imbalance (regardless of source) which did not change when the input cable was reversed or replaced.

NeweEgg will not exchange them and the Mfr. will not return emails or phone calls.

Other Thoughts: Email sent to support@hivi.com is returned undeliverable due to the mailbox being full.

Maybe if they answered them ....

Pros: This is an excellent pair of speakers. It's sound quality easily outperforms all but the most expensive monitor type 2 speaker systems, and even most pc speaker systems with subs. It's also tight and accurate, not boomy and annoying like most cheaper pc speakers. Pleasant to listen to. Very well made. Beautiful cabinets.

Cons: I wish they would add a subwoofer output and optical inputs, but that's just a design wish.

Other Thoughts: For the price range, I found no other 2 speaker systems that compare, and only a few with subs, if you want the space wasted by a big sub box.
