4 out of 5 eggssmall yet superb GPS :)

Pros: * alerts you to traffic along your route and helps you avoid it or lets you know if it's not enough to deserve a route change

* small and compact but still very easy to view

* recalculates very quickly if you miss a turn or exit

* Garmin website has WebUpdater plugins which make updating your GPS easy

Cons: * can only receive traffic info when using rather large power cable

* using WebUpdater through Garmin website is MUCH FASTER than using the myGarmin Agent program when updating software, but nothing tells you that and I had to find out through trial and error

4 out of 5 eggsNice GPS unit

Pros: Easy to use.
Nice big screen for pushing big icons.
Good amount of options. (avoidance list, like tollways) Recalculates fast.
Time estimates to your destination is helpful and pretty accurate.
Unit talks so you know when directions are coming up.
Has traffic watcher. (haven't had to use it yet, but you can set it in the avoidance list)
Search function so you can find places of interest or emergency facilities.

Cons: -Doesn't come with USB cable for your computer. (Its one of the mini-usb like you get with external hardrives, so i had one.)
There's some errors:
-Some highway feeder street names are wrong on the GPS.
-Has U-turns turned off by default, so we had a couple of minor misses. I'm skeptical on if it even works well.
-Some exit numbers off highways are wrong.
-Doesn't always find what you're looking for in the search 1st try. (biggest problem so far has been that if you don't know where the business is you want to go to, finding the right search parameters (like city) makes the search unable to find it)
The online Garmin software and registration.

Other Thoughts: Shipped fast, good ole newegg. Got this on sale too.

I have to say I've been happy with it for the most part. My girlfriend and I moved to a big city from a small one, and I knew my GF would have trouble with learning her way around. (I'm from here, so I can judge how well the unit works.)
The unit has been able to get us where we want to go every time, with some minor delays listed in the Con section. I updated the maps, but a few street names and exit numbers are still wrong.
I spent awhile just getting the registration and 3 software so I could do 1 map update.
There was a slight problem with the map update, but they fixed their servers in a couple of hours and I got my 1 free update.
If you're looking for an easy to use GPS, with a nice amount of options, this unit is pretty good. Some street names and offramp numbers being wrong keep this from being perfect. The search function takes some getting used to in a big city

5 out of 5 eggsgreat value!!!

Pros: Quick recalculating for my missed turns. Excellent value.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Love the different voice possibilities. Only wish it had a George Lopez voice. Instead of "recalculating", it would say "I'm thinking, I'm thinking." Instead of make a U-turn, it would say "Turn around, Man!"

4 out of 5 eggsawesome little thing

Pros: speaks street names, doesn't take long to recalculate route info in my neighborhood

small, which is what i was looking for
up-datable software off website (but that takes a while)

the mounting system is extreamly sturdy.

it has bus and pedestrian route info

has point of intrests, food gas atm transit attractions etc

also has an "offline" mode. that allows you to continue on your trip if you loose signal or to check out a trip before you take it. not sure if you can pause that trip log or not.

Cons: doesn't come with the usb cable to plug in to your computer. get one from @m@z0n or just Google the part number. i got mine for 3 bucks deviled to my door, new eggs price is 20$ (minus 1 egg for that)

takes a while to acquire satellite signal some times, but that could just be because of my location.

Other Thoughts: for my first gps i am extremely happy with it.

again dont buy the usb cable form newegg, its a total ripoff. search around youll find a much much better deal.
