SONY PS3 500GB Assassin's Creed 3 System Bundle

Pros: I am very happy with PS3 how is able to play my movies and the games. The hard drive for 500 GB is good able to meet my up loads and down loads.

Cons: N/A

Pros: works perfect no complaints about the system!

Cons: the 30 free playstation plus package was out of date so it was not useable.

Pros: - AC3 is a great game
- 30 free days of PS+ is a nice bonus
- The PS3 is a bit weaker in the chassis department compared to past models, but it is still the same ol' PS3 on the inside
- 500GB should keep your PS needs satiated for quite awhile

Cons: - Considering that the PS3 is almost 7 years old, the price is rather hefty
- Again, the console body is a bit on the cheap side but it's still the same powerhouse PS3 we've all come to know and love

Other Thoughts: A great bundle. If you need a new PS3 or if this is your first, get this. Otherwise, if you have an older PS3, this really isn't a good upgrade.

Pros: New Egg does it again.! Super fast processing and shipping. Arrived in three days, excellent packaging, included the games in the box to save seperate shipping, everything sealed in the factory cartons.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is the system my wife decided on and ordered it Monday and she is on line playing Wednesday at lunch !! Thank you Neww Egg for doing it again !!!

Pros: Wireless controllers is a big plus. The game brings people together for some fun. Graphics are good, not stellar like with a computer but what can you expect. all around, it is a great system and I really enjoy it, so I would recommend it to others.

Cons: Assassin's Creed is not a very fun game. the best part about it is the mini games you can find around the world to play.

Other Thoughts: I received a dual shock charging station as a gift around the time my playstation arrived. If you do not have plans of getting one with your system, rethink that decision.

Pros: bought this bundle for the wife to have something to play while she waits for me to get her a computer, and it keeps her entertained.

Cons: no touch buttons, no back usb slots, no ability to replace hard drive without ripping ps3 open, no otherOS, and no backwards compatability (because sony wants you to buy your old games AGAIN).
doesnt cook me bacon or heat tea.

Other Thoughts: just some design flaws/ bad moves (imo) by playstation. nothing that is a dealbreaker though.

Pros: 500GB storage Space, Sleek Design, Very Nice Sliding Top Loader, 1 free Games (AC3) and a 30 Day trail for PlayStation Plus. Runs alot colder for some reason then my previous slim and they were both in the same area and i had that one through winter too.

Cons: None the system Works like it should.

Other Thoughts: The new top loading disk slider is thin so you can hear the disk spinning alot loader than you could on the previous Slim model. This system is great as gift alot of memory so you will never run out and a great game that will keep you entertained for hours. this is my fourth PS3 (reason is i keep upgrading) and this one is sure to last.

Pros: A great bundle for the price. Game is essentially free with the purchase of the system, plus the 30-day PSN+ card. I used that to get Little Big Planet 2 for free (Although only free while PSN+ member).

System itself is sleek, small, lightweight, gets warm but not toasty after hours of game play. I enjoy the top-load disc system, although I hear many place their PS3's with front-load in a specific manner in their entertainment centers, thus causing an issue if they upgrade to this. Not really an issue, just fix the entertainment center!

Cons: None yet!

Pros: 500Gb of storage space for the price of 320Gb, plus a free copy of Assassin's Creed 3 and a 30-day trial membership for PlayStation Plus! New design takes up less space than ever, and has a slide tray at the top for loading discs rather than the front-load system on older models.

Cons: Newegg list the dimensions as equal to the previous PS3 Slim's dimensions when in fact, this one is much smaller than its predecessor. This is only a con because I just bought a cooler for my older PS3 slim and, according to the specs listed on Newegg, it should have been able to work but it didn't. Actual dimensions are as follows: 11.5" W x 9" L x 2.25" H (at maximum point).

*Note on HDD space calculation from the actual box:
"Hard disk capacity calculated using base 10 mathematics (1Gb = 1,000,000,000 bytes). In addition, "A portion of the hard disk capacity is reserved for use in connection with system administration, maintenance, and additional options. As a result, the availability of hard disk capacity may vary." (That is for the inevitable complaints of it not being exactly 500Gb ;) which should almost be common knowledge by now!)

I waited forever to get this one, but for the price, it was worth it! Hurricane Sandy messed up the shipping, but newegg was nice enough to upgrade me from 3-day to next day because of the delays. I am actually shocked that it made it here when it did since it came from New Jersey! Kudos to the guys and gals at both Newegg and UPS for an absolutely excellent job!
