1 out of 5 eggsBe Cautious!

Pros: Looks nice...

Cons: OK if you live somewhere in europe I suppose...
This phone came with no sim card, the charger had a European plug configuration, and the phone could not be activated on the Verizon network. None of that mentioned in the listing and all big drawbacks for me.

Other Thoughts: Newegg came through in eggcellent fashion with the RMA - still my first choice in electronics.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Bad for the Money

Pros: Very Durable, has been dropped many times with minimal damage, sand from the beach, etc with no problems
Long battery life: 2-3 days
Good Navigation once you get used to it

Cons: Reception is bad even when other phones from the same network have signal
Takes a while to get used to the set-up and scroll bar
Mine came programed for European networks (bought from newegg) and took a lot of research to make texts/multimedia messages work on my network

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for my Cingular (AT&T) KRZR. That phone gave me problems from the time I got it. Overall I would say this phone is a good deal for the money but if you live in a building with mediocre reception I would get something else. I have to leave my phone in a window to get signal and can't talk in my room (I live in a solid cement building on the first floor so the signal is weak anyway).

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sleek

Cons: Poor Battery Life, Loose Charging Port, Bulky Charger, Scrolling Button

Other Thoughts: I received the Order after a long wait and I found the Phone was not charging. I had to return the set and they sent me a new piece with a different charger. The new charger had an attachment to it which makes it fat. The charger port fits loosely to the phone leaving you in a belief that the phone is charging overnight and next day morning you discover the phone is dead. I wrestle to shove the charger to the phone until I see the charging indication.
The scrolling button is a real pain. It will take you months to get used to this button which keeps slipping all the time.
The Camera is not impressive too. No USB comes with the set so the pictures remain in the petty memory of your phone.
Otherwise the phone looks great for it has a metallic appearance. However it is not an easy phone to use. I have too many grievances with it.

2 out of 5 eggsNo so good

Pros: It is a beautiful looking phone.
-The slider action is smooth and feels durable.
-Can play mp3s and use them as ringtones
-very lightweight when compared to other sliders
-excellent camera
-good sound quality for everything, including using a wired headset, speakerphone, regular call, and playing music with the built in speaker

Cons: the really bad:
-poor battery life
-poor signal reception
-bluetooth was shoddy at best
-My charger died and took the phone out with it.

the nitpicky:
-alarm doesn't go off when in vibrate or silent
-you can only use a small selection of pre-installed alarm clock tones
-very little customization. You pretty much have "indoor" "outdoor" "silent" and "vibrate" for ring profiles. You are limited to only changing your ringtone and its volume.
-battery low and battery charged noises are the same

Other Thoughts: It replaced my RIZR Z3.

It's a great phone if you are a casual or everyday user. I found it excellent for sending texts and making phone calls (as long as it wasn't on a bluetooth headset).

If you are a power user, I would look somewhere else

2 out of 5 eggsirked

Pros: sleek, shiny, feels like a real object

Cons: not quadband... my fault for not reading the description. also not what the eggs are about.

Other Thoughts: bought the black model of this phone from newegg, it was defective, sent for an rma. when the new one came in it was silver... so i paid for a black model plus rma return shipping and got the cheaper version in the end...?

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Phone at a decent price

Pros: Works well on T-Mobile Newtork in Southern California. Packed with features, very responsive. Great Price for a Brand New Phone, US adapter included with Euro Charger. Pop your Sim card in and your good to go. Replaced a 3 year old razor, so its not much of a competition.

Cons: Unlocked Virgin Mobile Phone, difficult to remove all the branding without a usb cable and software. Comes with Euro AC charger with a small adapter, so charger takes up some space. Poor reception compared to other New phones, on the T-mobile Network, such as the sidekick.

Other Thoughts: LG does a good job at making an easy to use phone, that does what its supposed to do... with that being said, your paying $130 for a brand new phone that has been unlocked. That is a steal, when similar phones sell for 300+ retail price. your getting what you pay for, but its not going to impress any of your friends, well the 100 phone with no contract might.... buy it to replace a old phone, not to keep up with the Joneses

2 out of 5 eggspretty looks... ugly functionality

Pros: shiny... shiny... shiny...
respectable media functionality

Cons: I don't care what others say, the keys are still cumbersome after a year of ownership. Especially that poor excuse for a navigation nub. The lack of an external speaker [speaker mode mearly turns up the earpiece speaker] makes the ringer about useless. Voice control is less accurate than other phones [sony erricsson, blackberry, samsung] that i've used. Also I can't prove it since i've only used one bluetooth headset with it but I swear it's got poor connections with bluetooth headsets because my headset worked fine with other phones but was fuzzy with this one.

Other Thoughts: not really a technical but a personal opinion, I've never liked the menu system and navigation of LG phones but thats purely preference, my girlfriend likes it. Also even though this is a pretty phone remember that it only means it looks horrid after some scratches... and this will scratch.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great with T-Mobile. Easy to use and quick to set up. Great phone for the price.

Cons: The mirror is only good up close. Objects in the distance are warped, sort of like a fun house mirror. Fingerprints and smudges are easily left on the phone, so it requires constant cleaning unless you get a case.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had any problems with the phone shutting off like a few of the others had mentioned.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: Works great with T-Mobile, just drop in the sim card and away you go! Keypad and thumb roller works great, I have not had a problem like others have. Solid metal construction! LG UK website has some great tricks for any issues, too!

Cons: Does show fingerprints easily and the mp3 doesn't work all that great, but I use it as a phone, browser and text messaging.

3 out of 5 eggsOne Band

Pros: Great looking classy phone. Perfect for final/emergency check of yourself right before an interview.

Cons: Tri-band phone. If bought and used in the US, it's as good as a one band phone. The US GSM carriers use 850 and 1900. This one doesn't use 850 Mghz. You can be an area that is supposed to have coverage, but you don't. That's because the area is covered under 850 mghz.
