5 out of 5 eggsNice Chande and GREAT camera

Pros: Super camer and Fast too.

Cons: Nothing horrible, however Microsoft has to get more apps.

Other Thoughts: Had a Nexus 4, and Galaxy S4,,,and replaced with this.
I don't know what it is, but I will stick with this for awhile.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Not sure

Cons: Headphone jack is really poor quality. Apparently it is a pretty common issue for the 3.5mm headphone jack to break after putting in a pair of earbuds/headphones. The device behaves as if earbuds are plugged in at all time, and thus the speakers do not work. All calls have to be made through speaker phone or else there is no sound. Plugging in earbuds, you can still hear everything, but without them all media, phone calls etc dont work (no sound).

Again, google'ing the issue and it appears quite common. Tried resetting the phone and everything already, nothing works. Going to have to RMA or something.

Other Thoughts: Could the windows phone UI and OS be any less intuitive? I mean, I thought windows 8 was bad, but at least i can navigate it. The windows phone OS is just absolute trash in my opinion. Even the most basic things such as alphabetizing settings options is just not done...

1 out of 5 eggsDon't get this phone

Pros: Phone is fast and camera quality is good.

Cons: Besides there being very few apps Nokia has the worst customer service. They promise of a year warranty is a total scam. My phone had a defect where the flash won't turn off and i sent it in to be fixed THREE times, and it was never fixed. Each time they just ran "tests" and although they are suppose to send you a new phone if they can't fix your problem, they kept sending me back my old phone and wasting about a month of my time waiting for it.

5 out of 5 eggsMy GO TO phone, used daily

Pros: Upgradeable to Windows Phone 8.1! The operating system is clean, clear and organized. Thus I am most productive using this smartphone. Slim and sleek, uses extra antenna fortification for stronger signals! I put down many Android phones, including a Nexus 5, in favor of this one! Aside from the unreal camera (and low light photography), the screen is incredibly clear and vivid. Retina?! This Lumia 925 screen performance is unrivaled. Uses clear black technology and adjusts to usage under the sun! I can actually see my screen outside on a bright and sunny day! The battery lasts a day and a half with moderate-heavy usage. Free voice / turn-by-turn navigation!

Cons: App store is lacking few games. However the key apps are there for the most part. I am a heavy user and besides Uber (which is accessed through a great mobile browser) I have most of the apps I need / can and will use. Wished the screen was a bit larger, but uses capacitive buttons on the phone and the entire screen is used.

Other Thoughts: This phone has easily beat out my other devices (Android mostly, I've stopped using iOS devices for quite some time now... since the original iTouch.) Previous phone used as my main device was a Nexus 5, my next phone will definitely be a larger screened Lumia. If you want to get work done and need a phone to help manage tasks and office work as well as social enough to keep you in the loop while you get work done... I would not recommend any other phone.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade from Lumia 625

Pros: 1. LTE - faster data, 30 mbps
2. 4.5 AMOLED, bigger screen for viewing
3. Front-camera, better for video call and selfie
4. Windows phone 8.1, absolutely beautiful tile UI
5. No contract with T-Mobile, $30 for 5GB data and text and 100 min voice. I've never gone over the limit.
6. Only $200 upgrade, you can't find a better phone at this price range among iPhone, Android, and Windows phones.

Cons: It doesn't have the round corners like iPhone.
I am not a big fan of a bit raised back-camera lens.

Other Thoughts: I had Lumia 625 for 9 months, It was a great entry-level phone for 1st time user of a smart phone. Only set you back $60. Before that, I had a LG Android phone with which I had a bad experience with it, but it was the only "nice" entry-level smart phone at that time.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Smartphone

Pros: One of the best cameras out there. Also, one of the best screens. Clear readability. Slim and light-weight. Battery life a bit above average. Nokia apps are very good. Nokia music service is awesome; better than Pandora.

Cons: Limited space, only 16GB and no SD-Card expansion. Limited apps compared to Android and iOS. Also, apps that are on all three platforms are sub-par on Windows Phone. has limitation compared to Gmail.

Other Thoughts: If you are coming from Android or iOS you'll most likely be disappointed. The reason is because of the lack of apps. You'll most likely miss about 1/3 of your apps you were used to on the other platforms. Also some of the apps that are on the other platforms are missing features on the Windows Phone side.

If this is going to be your first smartphone, you'll most likely love it. It has awesome hardware! The camera is one of the best out there and is probably second best to the Lumia 1020 camera. The screen is amazing. You will not have any difficulty looking at it under any lighting condition.

Some of the Nokia apps that are provided like Nokia Maps, are well done. With the phone now down to $219, this is a great buy and a good time to buy. Windows Phone 8.1 is coming this summer and this phone is included for the update. WP 8.1 has lots of great improvements.

5 out of 5 eggsMore phone than I need

Pros: Great screen quality and size, more memory than I'll every need, good battery life, excellent maps (which can be downloaded) and nav software included, The optical stabilization in camera is a big step up from my 521. The Win 8.1 update adds excellent features, and further syncing with my other Win 8.1 devices. With a version of Office and cloud storage included, it's a great package at a very reasonable price, I can't imagine how this can be beat, other than a by newer Win 8.1 phone.

Cons: Not really a con for many, but as shipped, the case is too slippery for me to use without a case.

Other Thoughts: Our first smartphone was a Lumina 521. This is a step up in capability and a big step up in readability. I found a nice non-slip case with a thick enough shell to make it difficult to get finger prints on the camera lens . Get the Win 8.1 update ASAP; it's great.
