2 out of 5 eggsNokia BH-501

Pros: Comfortable and light weight. Fair price. Folds to be more compact.

Cons: Multi-function button does not control my Ipod touch. I can't pause the media.
only the volume controls work. After extended wear causes ears to sweat. Documentation is not that good.

Other Thoughts: Sound is good for BT headset and block out most ambient noise.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: The sound quality on calls is great, both for me and the person I'm talking with.

Cons: I have the headset synced to an iPhone 3Gs and I have to go in and tell it to connect every time I turn it on. Other bluetooth headsets I've used connect automatically as soon as I turn the headset on. I bought another headset.

3 out of 5 eggsfragile, but passable

Pros: decent battery life, worked well with Linux

Cons: the headband is fragile, it snapped off a few days after I bought these.
I put them inside a pair of earmuffs, which was actually pretty neat, but it makes them harder to charge. Anyway, I stopped using these after a few weeks.

Other Thoughts: A2DP just doesn't turn out decent sound quality in most cases. Oh well.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent, but nothing special.

Pros: Removes the confinement of normal wired headphones. Other than that I cant think of a good pro, it's a basic headphone set. I only use it for music so I'm not using it to its full capabilities.

Cons: I've had several issues with the connection being dropped all of a sudden and my computer(MacBook with Leopard using A2DP) suddenly crashing. I can not say if this is entirely the headsets fault as I have not used any other BlueTooth headset yet. So it may be OSX's problem, or a combination.

Other Thoughts: As for the Audio quality, what can I say? It's decent. some static when first starting up and static every once in a while or if I start to get out of range. Compared to my normal headphones the compression really isn't an issue. So far the only time it's bothered me has been sections of songs that have a lot of cymbal use in the drums.

The random connection loss I can sort of deal with, but if the random crashing continues I will get rid of the headphones.

4 out of 5 eggsWish I had the new 503s

Pros: I hate wiring myself up with ear-buds. Life is so much better with these headphones! No wires, long battery life.
Works great with my Nokia N95. Redial and voice dial work as expected. I love these.
Haven't had any issues with phone calls or voice quality yet.

Inexpensive, and worth the price.

Cons: Regular connections to the headset take an extra step. After they start up, you have to click once to connect. "Click-once" for voice dial, "click-twice" for redial, and holding the multi-function button is only for on/off (and pairing), took me a few days to get used to. Was no problem when I finally decided to read the manual. :)

Other Thoughts: Really wanted the BH-503s, which also come with next and previous buttons and some added enhancements. But they're not available anywhere and I wanted some wireless headphones bad. I'm very happy with these for the time being.

2 out of 5 eggsNot what I wanted

Pros: Looks pretty good. Nice sturdy and flexible neck band. Straightforward instructions and usage. Worked with my MacBook Pro. Overall design seems very high quality.

Cons: Audio input (mic) was very muddy. Button clicks were loud when buttons are pressed while unit is worn. Doesn't work while being charged. Doesn't fold up very small. Became uncomfortable after half an hour of use.

Other Thoughts: I was disappointed and returned this unit the day after I received it.
