3 out of 5 eggsLove-hate relationship with this headphone

Pros: Cool looking. Decent sound (if/when it fits properly).

Cons: It just does not fit!

Other Thoughts: I only spent a few hours with this headphone and already have this love-hate relationship with it. On one hand, it is a very cool looking headphone. The BT works well. No problem pairing it with my phone/Google wear smart watch. The sound quality is decent (more on that later). No lagging from the BT that I notice after spending 2-3 hours listening on music from my phone. On the other hand, I just cannot get it to fit in my ears properly. Those telescope stems/stem rotation features do absolutely nothing for me. I had to use the smallest ear cups to get the speakers in properly before I could hear any base though. That was by shoving the cups all the way in inside my ear canal. That does not take long before I feel very uncomfortable...quite painful actually. The funny thing is when I put it on on the opposite side, it felt quite comfortable and the sound was much better. I guess that was because the ear cups fit better when put it on that way. This might be the design flaw (the way the speaker is pointing). Or, maybe, I might have funny ear canal.

5 out of 5 eggsBluetooth headset S11-Flex

Pros: Thirty foot range, but crystal clear stereo. Very comfortable. And the household sleeps while all hell breaks loose on the screen

Cons: If you're playing movies on your PC, they sometimes get slightly out of sync. This is most noticable if your pause and restart the movie.....say while you go get a brew. It helps to log out of your movie software, and resume or go to the chapter menu to return to your scene.

Other Thoughts: If you're as old as I am, you will appreciate not having to use captions.

5 out of 5 eggsYeah

Pros: Sure cures deafness!! The sound is crystal clear. The battery when fully charged is about five hours, and the headset is very comfortable. I also really appreciate the quiet in the house....and so does the wife

Cons: Can't think of any...

Other Thoughts: Wish my DTV had a USB bluetooth sound capability.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointing... My ears are still ringing...

Pros: It works... technically...

Cons: I bought this over replacing my old PLANTRONICS Backbeat 903+ Bluetooth Headset with another of the same because my old pair died due to sweat getting into it. This Motorola set was advertised as water(sweat)proof... and technically it is... the electronics don't get wet... but the adhesive that holds the cushioning rubber onto the frame does and when it does it turns into a sticky liquid that oozes out onto your ears :P

Also the sound quality is really, really quiet. I even got a sound booster app for my phone and still had to run with the sound maxed out when I worked out. Now I could understand if it was just too loud in the gym for this device to overcome, but I know that's not the case because of the device's integrated sounds. I'm working out and can barely hear the sounds I'm using this thing for, but when the battery gets close to dying and the device pauses to notify me of this, the sound is sharp, loud, and intensely jarring. I almost tripped and killed myself on the treadmill. So how come the sounds I'm using it for are so quiet and yet the low battery warning makes my teeth vibrate? Very poor design, that's how.

Further the one-size-fits-most ear buds click and pop with every step I take making it even harder to hear what I bought them to hear. Over all, I'd rather go through the hassle of using a wired set of headphones than these.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor headband design and unwillingness to redesign

Pros: One of the most comfortably and best sounding bluetooth headphones I have ever owned

Cons: I have sent this headphone in for warranty replacement three times now. Each time I have been assured that the reason for the failure had been addressed and that this would remedy my problem. This has been so not the case if anything the failure rate has been shorter each time!!

Other Thoughts: It would seem so easy to address this problem if they would simply use metal ends on the adjustable part of the headband I believe the problem would be solved. Three failures of the exact same the tiny end breaks off the adjustable headband. At which point the are no longer secure or as comfortable to wear.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Sweat Resistant! Don't Buy!

Pros: Comfort and initial battery life.

Cons: I run 30 minutes a day 4 times a week. The headphones lasted about 3 months under these conditions. The right side ear now suffers from an annoying popping sound and the full charge that initially tells me more than 5 hours will actually run out of battery after 40 minutes of usage. I can only imagine based on all other poor reviews sweat is cause because these are not very sweat resistant.

Other Thoughts: I've tried Jabre Sport and now Motorola in search of a bluetooth exercise headset. It seems I will have to give up looking for a wireless exercise headset and go back to corded until the technology develops for another year.

3 out of 5 eggs1 Year later

Pros: -Bluetooth range is awesome, I've never experienced a drop.
-The sound is good (not expecting Bose, just clear and loud - for the gym).
-Pairing was simple and consistent.
-Motorola honors their 1yr warranty.

Cons: -Does not seem to be as sweat proof as advertised.

Other Thoughts: I purchased my first Flex-S211 HD one year ago tomorrow (4/2/13), and today just put in for my second warranty replacement. The first pair lasted two months before they died, likely because of sweat. The second pair started getting flaky back in October, but they still generally worked and I was still able to charge them. Yesterday they completely died on my. I couldn't turn them off, none of the buttons worked, and it wouldn't take a charge anymore. Fortunately I called Motorola 1 day prior to me being completely out of warranty.

The next replacement will only have a 90 day warranty (original product has a 1yr, replacements have 90-day) so if this next one dies after 90 days I'll have to find a different solution.
