LG HBM-235 Black Bluetooth 3.0 Headset w/ 13hrs Of Talk Time & Multi-Point Connectivity

Pros: Cheap, stylish, easy to use.
Long battery life and long range.

Cons: Low sound quality

Pros: good battery life, bluetooth connectivity easily connects, light weigth, easy fit.

Cons: Never got my $20 rebate so i took two eggs for that.

Pros: Nice feel, clear voice. Battery lasted a long time

Cons: Difficult to answer a call - did not respond when button was pressed

Pros: Relatively easy to operate and the sound is OK.

Cons: The ear hook is not well designed. Best wear the unit without it.

Other Thoughts: I received this unit dead on arrival. Could not turn on. Newegg resent a new unit and it worked. As someone mentioned on review, the ear hook is hurting if you use it for a while. My solution is to bend the hook outwards so that it does not rest on my ear. You have to bend it to some extreme in order to get the right angle. After that, it hurts less. The hook is not needed to attach the unit to your ear. So it's OK to bend it so that it does not touch your ear. If you find it too annoying, you can take the hook off and the unit can still be firmly attached to your ear. The hook prevents accidental drop I guess. I usually wear it without the hook.

Pros: Great battery life, seems to charge quickly, super light--I forget I'm wearing it at times. I bought this a couple years ago with a smoking rebate that made my out-of-pocket expense drop to $0.01. Still going strong; couldn't be happier with it!
Great sound and volume, and very sensitive mic. Over-ear wire hurt my ear after 30 minutes or so, so I removed it and never looked back. I didn't need the wire; the unit stays in my ear just fine. Plus, removing the wire makes it easier to switch ears if needed.

Cons: The ONLY issue I had was the wire that hurt my ear after a while. So, I removed it and eliminated the issue. Some people have told me that it is hard to hear me if I'm outside--I think the mic is very sensitive to wind and traffic noise.

Other Thoughts: I always bought Plantronics bluetooth headsets but I'm so pleased with this one, I'll buy another LG when this one dies.
Also, it's so small that it's easy to misplace.

Pros: out of the box work, pairing easy

Cons: cheap made, over the ear cheap plastic break easily (it broke in 1 week of use)

Pros: Low cost (if I received my rebate). Worked well. Clear. Long battery life. Great product.

Cons: I bought this for 0.99 with the rebate. Seems like a great deal right? Wrong. I did not receive my rebate. I really think newegg should screen rebate options, they often seem to be scams. I trust newegg, and expect more from them.

Other Thoughts: Note android devices will not work with mono ear pieces.

Pros: This headset has a great battery life and styling and a decent call quality. Even after 7 months of ownership. I am a huge fan of LG and I really enjoyed the styling of this headset. I am not a heavy Bluetooth user. Unlike most people, I use my headset when I am in my home. It frees me up when I am doing stuff around the house.

Cons: This thing HURTS! After about 15 minutes it feels as if you are a victim of some weird ear torture. The plastic non-padded ear piece has a small point to help grip it to your ear. Sadly, it does this with as much strength as a junkyard crane. I sanded down the point and then wrapped the plastic in a few layers of heat shrink in the hopes of creating some padding. It helped but not much. This plastic ear piece even after 7 months has no loosened it's grip. It still creates pressure pain on my ear.

I have owned many headsets of the years and this is the first one I can say that is painful to wear. I still have it but I use it sparingly. I prefer to wear my wired headset around the house. I can't bring myself to buy another headset until this one breaks. It's an LG so I'm going to be waiting a while.

This thing doesn't sound the best. Even when right next to my phone calls are a little raspy. Sometimes I need people to repeat themselves. But for the most part it does its job.

Other Thoughts: Decent headset with decent sound and outstanding battery life. If you are into ear pain this is the headset for you.

Pros: Got this for a steal so I wasn't expecting greatness but the little thing turned out to work darn good. I use this in my Peterbilt truck and figured it would pick up a good bit of the surrounding noise from the transmission, turbo, tires...etc but so far nobody has had any trouble with me while I'm using it. Its got a decent range away from the main unit. Nothing crazy but if you walk into another room or something it wont cut out.

-Pairs extremely well with my LG G2x phone. (Optimus 2x)
-Newegg prices/shipping/website.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Fanbois are easy to spot. If someone has a bad experience the fanbois will always dock them no matter what. Go to your favorite processor, graphics card, memory, HDD, SSD...etc and find someone who got a dead unit, or worse, 3 RMAs and still dead..etc and their review always has "1 of 9 people" for helped or not. Don't dock people for thier honesty. It ruins the site and the great review system here @ the Egg. Just because your BH that a user had a bad experience with your BFF part doesn't mean they are trashing on it just to spite you. Keep Newegg honest.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Square shape causes an ungodly amount of discomfort
The LG 235's sound quality is much poorer than my LG 230

Other Thoughts: I'll keep it as a backup, but I'll downgrade (or is it upgrade) to the 230.
