4 out of 5 eggsNice sound, for Price

Pros: Great quality sound.
Nice bass.
cord length is long.

Cons: the volume and chat box is cheap in construction, along with the main headpiece.

Other Thoughts: I had one of these for about 7 months when at that point the constant twisting from the cord on the volume box (even tho i try not to) ended up breaking the connection inside to where only one headphone produced sound.
I simply got another considering I like the sound quality and price.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted About 4 Months

Pros: -Alright audio quality
-They looked cool I guess
-People said I sounded fine on skype

Cons: -Broke 4 months in and I'm gentle with my investments
-What's bass again?
-Audio controller was kinda lose and would change just by a little rub
-The connector to remote cable was fine, remote to headset was wayyyyyyaayyayyy too thin

Other Thoughts: They were nice but flimsy.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent headset for the price

Pros: I really liked the bass that I got out of this headset. You can adjust the bass to your preference. They are really comfortable as well.

Cons: After wearing the headset extended periods of time the ink (dye) used to color the ear muffs bleeds on EVERYTHING.

Other Thoughts: I've had this headset for about a year and the left ear is starting to short out due to a wiring problem.

Overall I'd still refer this item to anyone who doesn't want to pay a ton for a decent headset.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's alright

Pros: It's comfortable, the quality is good, and the mic is good.

Cons: The volume control adapter is large and clunky. If you sit the wrong way, and get it caught in something it will result in the right ear phone going out. I've bought 3-4 of these the past year, my first from newegg, just because it was convenient since the store down the block has them for 60 bucks. But they last 1-3 months and then the earphone goes out. Unless you play your games in a position where the cord WONT get snagged WHAT so ever i don't suggest buying this. I sit stationary in my computer chair, i don't do a lot of moving, but since my computer is on my right, and the cord is connected to the left, it goes across my lap, and it gets snagged. If you're buying it for your kids keep this in mind.

Other Thoughts: It's a decent headset if you're just looking for a cheap buy, but keep in mind you might have to buy one again soon.

2 out of 5 eggsMy turtle beach story.

Pros: This headset could honestly be one of best headsets out there.... but... (read cons)

Cons: I bought this headset roughly 3 months ago. I was enjoying them so much but after some use I realize that the volume control is always tugging at my head and it never had a place to sit comfortably.
Anyways, i suppose after months of it tugging at my big head one speaker decided to cut out. No big deal I thought, I usually only have it on one ear anyways. Then a day later the other one went out. I was mad. Spent 60 bucks on it at the time just to have it short out a few short months later. Of course I didn't have the receipt either (go figure) So i went outside and smashed it to pieces. It took the first smash like a bro tho. but was no match for the corresponding smashes to come. I am never buying turtle beach again. Why would any company design a headset that had a huge volume controller connected to a flimsy wire leading to the headset? I am literally perplexed.

5 out of 5 eggsTo all the people who dont know...

Pros: Great sound quality. First headset I have ever had and its great.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: To everyone. The game volume doesnt work and the chat works only because ur using it through usb on a pc. On PC you can only use one connection at a time. On ps3, the voice is transmitted through usb and game sound it transmitted through the 3.5mm jack. So on pc, you cant use both at once, while ps3 it natively uses both.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Easy set up.

Cons: Flimsy, Unable to adjust/mute mic (You hear yourself through the headphones), not comfortable at all (Head band started hurting after about 30min, and ear cuff pulls down on top of your ears if you try to adjust the head band). Cables are long and heavy. They tend to add weight to the whole unit. Game volume control doesn’t work in any of my games. The chat volume adjusted whole system volume.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good headset

Pros: I love how the earcups feel and how soft the headset is.

Cons: It feels like its going to fall apart in my hands and the hissing bugs me to no end

Other Thoughts: Its a pretty good headset for the price. I've used it for PC and PS3 and it works great on both.
