2 out of 5 eggsnot 4 netflux

Pros: Plays Discs

Cons: Every few months I have to reset to factory original and then update and re-enter all my netflix info to avoid the dreaded "We're having trouble playing this title right now....." message any time I dare to stream a movie, any movie.
Monthly, or more often, I have to unplug and restart after it locks up while trying to remember how to stream a movie I have chosen.

At least once a week I have to laboriously re-enter my netflix info after being greeted by the "welcome to netflix ..... please sign in screen.

Other Thoughts: I hate this thing for netflix, it is easier to plug my notebook into my TV. Way way too expensive for just playing discs.

5 out of 5 eggsGood player

Pros: Small light-weight and wireless, speedy delivery. Bought it because old bluray wouldn't play right, movies would go black for a second or two, this one has no problems.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: upgrade the firmware with a usb stick, easy to do

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: Small Footprint, 3D, HDMI, WiFi, Decent price, Easy setup. Excellent picture. Performance wise, this is a great player.

Cons: The remote is much to small for my hand and probably most people's. I am going to try out a universal. I was unable to connect a keyboard to this which would make it much easier to use the streaming services (searching primarily). It's a bit tedious to enter a search using the remote and an on screen keyboard. The only streaming services available are Vudu and Netflix. Nothing for music.

Other Thoughts: I think if they redesigned their remote and provided access to more online media outlets it would be a perfect device.

4 out of 5 eggsMy fisrt Blue-ray player

Pros: It is small, light weight and fits in with my other entertainment gear. Was a snap to hook up.
Have not played a blue ray disk on it yet, but it works great upscaing my regular disck to fill my new LED TV

Cons: Front DVD tray and controls are hard for me to see.
It's light weight causes it to move when you put a DVD in the tray and try to close the tray manually.

Other Thoughts: Would like to have a built in light for the DVD tray so it would be easier to load

5 out of 5 eggsBang for the buck!

Pros: Got a good deal on it for Black Friday. It plays 3d n blu ray ! If your looking for a decent 3d player with wifi then this is the way to go. Unlike other review I had no issues with wifi. The menu is simple because it's just a basic 3d blu ray player. Has USB port to hook up external hdd and hdmi port.

Cons: Only had Netflix and vudu on it but it's fine since I had other devices for streaming movies and shows. Remote is too small for my hand.

Other Thoughts: I don't do a lot of reviews online but this I highly recommend it. It's really worth the price. Just a simple 3d player else where can cost you over a hundred already. If your like me and just need a simple 3d n blu ray player wit wifi, USB port, hdmi port then this is the way to go. Best bang for your buck!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsGood player

Pros: Easy to install. The menu does leave a little to the imagination, but easy to use regardless. Haven't tried the photo or music functions yet.

Cons: None to speak of

Other Thoughts: For the price, it's a pretty good setup. The wifi does work rather well and haven't had issues as of yet.

1 out of 5 eggsyou have been warned

Pros: none

Cons: my lg player is terrible for streaming netflix. 1) you can't set it up to just stream netflix. you have to start with their main menu, wait, go to the apps menu, wait, go to the netflix menu and then scroll thru a bunch of thumbnails, wait. complete waste of time. 2) trying to stream something I haven't watched before often kicks me back to the main menu and I have to start all over. it's taken me sometimes 30 mins to actually watch something. most of the time I just give up. 3) it's always locking up and I have to unplug/plug to reset the player 4) it loses the network/netflix settings which are really frustrating to set up. 5) when there is a software update, a few times I had no choice but to update and the whole process can take 20-30 mins 6) my latest problem. after watching netflix for several months. suddenly I can't watch anything. just out of the blue, late one night it died. rebooted the cable modem, no help. rebooted the router, no help. research the net and try various hocus pocus routines, no help. deactivated netflix, no help. finally I reset the player back to factory defaults and it worked again except it took about 20 mins to set it back up. altogether maybe 2 hrs wasted. I have no excuse for continuing to waste my time with this. Oh and also, the player itself has trouble playing certain formats that I had no problem with on my old dvd player. though I haven't had an issue with commercial discs.
