Energy S10.3 Subwoofer Each

Pros: Great power. Great size, hides easily in corner. Tight bass. Capabilities exceed its seemingly small size. Auto on feature works flawlessly (I've had other subs where it didn't)

Cons: Blue lighting front.

Pros: Unbelievable Sound quality, very adjustable, slams hard, great for music and movies, hits low notes, all for an excellent price.

Cons: Instruction Manual could be better

Other Thoughts: I bought this subwoofer after a lot of research. I saw it here on Newegg a few weeks ago for $249. I thought the price was good but wasn't ready to buy. Well, when it went on sale for $199, I couldn't pass it up. It came 2 days after I ordered it (great job Newegg). I hooked it up, made some adjustments and popped in a blue-ray disc, and all I could say was "oh my". All of a sudden I'm hearing things I never heard before, not to mention it was much deeper than my old Onkyo. I also listen to a lot of music, so I popped in a CD with incredible bass, Herbie Hancock's Future to Future. Again, "oh my". I recommend highly.

Pros: Easy to setup, plenty connection options/adaptability. Good tight bass in both movies and music. I watched Dark Night in Dolby True HD and the action scenes were incredible! As with any sub, finding the correct location for your room is key to any sub to sound good. Also, my blue led light is still working a week or so in... :)

Cons: Well lets see, I read the reviews prior to purchase about issues with the led light,etc.. Well so far after a week, the light still works, but the sub itself didn't work out of the box. I hooked it all up and powered it on. The light came on so I thought all was well. I ran the Audessy Multi-EQ auto setup on my denon receiver, when it got to the sub I heard no output.. So I double check all connections, everything is good. Run it again, still nothing! So I wiggle the sub cable in the back of the sub and all of a sudden I get a loud rumble/ouput from the sub. so its a bad connection somewhere in the amp.. I tried two cables with no difference. If I get the cable in "just" the right spot. it stays on.. On the plus side, I emailed support at Energy, and they asked for my invoice from newegg, and a day later got an email confirmation that they are sending me a new amplifier in the mail, and I do not have to send the defective one back. So it looks like I'll learn how to replace an amp :)

Other Thoughts: Not sure if repairing it myself voids the warranty, but I'm just glad they didn't ask me to send it in for repairs at my expense..

Pros: I purchased this subwoofer after grabbing the Energy PS500 5 channel system on sale to round out my home theater setup. Could not be more pleased for the price (<$200 on sale). This subwoofer sounds great even at low volumes just to make my Energy 5 channel system sound more full.

This subwoofer can put out a disgusting amount of bass, it is phenomenal; I shook my entire two bedroom apartment with the dial at 2 o'clock and my receiver turned up to 20. At 50 I felt like I couldn't stand up!

Cons: The knobs and construction do feel somewhat cheap, but for the price it performs too well for me to care.

Other Thoughts: The blue LED does not bother me like most people - I feel it is fairly subtle as my modem in the same room is almost as bright.

Some people here and elsewhere have mentioned the auto-off doesn't work or goes out, but I purchased a power strip with a 'Master' control, so that this will only turn on if my receiver is on, seems much more efficient; it auto shuts off when I turn the receiver off.

Pros: Great low distortion musical sound,a happy camper for almost 3 years but....

Cons: Amp failed in 3 years,woke up and thought someone had planted a Klipsch alarm clock in my home as a joke.Removed the amp for inspection and tossed in the trash.Total junk,amazed it lasted 3 years.

Pros: Sound Quality is amazing. Ive only had one week setup so I cant judge the reliability but the bass does not rattle or sound bad. It sounds amazings so far with my onkyo 709.

Cons: None at the moment but realise that the majority post cons about this sub because those who speak out are generally the ones that had a bad experience. A vast majority most likely really enjoy this sub and without flaws.

Pros: Sound quality seems good overall, not quite as "tight" as the pair of 10" acoustic suspension woofers in my old big 3way stereo speakers.

Cons: First one received was DOA. Very frustrating and costly to have to ship back. Hopefully #2 holds up.

Other Thoughts: I thought I was buying a good (not excellent) sub-woofer for $189 - good deal. Turned out to be $230 with the return shipping charge of first defective unit - not so good.

Pros: Balanced sound... if you can ignore vibrations.

Cons: Blue light died after 1 month
Noticed vibrations coming from speaker after 2 months

Other Thoughts: I've had this only 2 months and it is making all kinds of vibrations at only moderate volumes. I would rather a subwoofer not play the lowest of frequencies rather than rattle about trying to reproduce them.

Pros: Low Price
Smaller Size
Powerful Amplifier
Huge Sound

Cons: Neighbors, pets or drywall may not be as excited.

Other Thoughts: I recommend getting a pair of these to smooth out the 'hot' or 'cold' bass spots around the room.

Pros: I am very impressed with this sub. It hits low and has nice clean bass. i purchased this on sale for $199 shipped. You cant beat that! If your looking for a good sub but dont want to spend $500 get this one. You wont be disappointed.
