Energy EF-500 Tower Speaker Pair

The EF-500 features dual 5.5” woofers that produce amazing bass for the speaker size. Instead of a single, larger diameter woofer, the EF-500 uses two, smaller woofers to create a similar large movement of air for deep bass in a more compact, less width cabinet. The 1” soft-dome tweeter reproduces smooth high frequencies, while the waveguide that surrounds it helps to control the tweeter’s dispersion. The high frequencies are aimed directly at the main listening position for a more open and lifelike listening experience. A front firing port allows flexible room placement. The optimized “bass reflex” design creates deep bass using both the air movement in front of the dual woofers and a front-firing port to reinforce that bass with air movement behind the drivers. Unlike rear-firing port designs, the EF-500’s can be tucked-away in a corner if desired.
