This 4-way ported speaker is the flagship of the high performance Monitor Series. Its multi-driver design and non-resonant enclosure delivers the classic Polk sound (open, spacious and clear), even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers. Its size guarantees a bold, realistic audio experience whether you’re building an extreme home theater or a sensitive stereo system.

Monitor-Grade Sound 1-inch (25mm) silk/polymer composite Dynamic Balance dome tweeter with powerful neodymium magnet structure delivers clear and detailed high frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments. Four 6 1/2-inch composite Dynamic Balance drivers are lightweight and stiff with good damping for high efficiency, excellent bass and lower distortion. Multiple small-diameter driver design delivers wide dispersion, better mid-range, and more detailed bass response for an open, box-less, three-dimensional sound.
Refined Bass Port Critically tuned flared port minimizes port noise (chuffing) for good low frequency extension with low distortion, resulting in natural, full-bodied sound with rich bass.
Finest Crossover Circuit Crossovers use Mylar bypass capacitors for more detailed high frequencies.
Sophisticated MDF Cabinet Non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 3/4-inch thick baffles ensures cleaner, clearer, more lifelike sound quality. Tower models feature additional front-to-back and side-to-side internal bracing for further reduced resonance.

Pros: I waited on grabbing a pair of these until they went back on sale, and they effectively doubled the output of my 5.1 system going to 7.1. Excellent sound quality, do a search and you'll find lots of reviews on them. I highly recommend them if you can find them on a decent sale. Cons: None so far. At this price point I don't think you will find anything better. Cons: None Yet. Other Thoughts: These replaced a pair of Polk RT400's that are still working and this is a major improvement. I have a Yamaha RX V473 receiver went into setup menu and turned on extra bass and this helped. Cons: weak mids, weak lows Other Thoughts: i'm using a Yamaha rx-v473 which outputs 80 p/ch at 8 omhs not 115 as one poster mentioned, with a pair of these speakers but the bass is really pathetic, u would think that 4 of the 6 inch sub drivers would sound acceptable but is not, so i got a powered sub and that fixed the bass problem. i gotta say that the highs are crystal clear, the vocals are not well defined and sounds very thin. overall i think this is a very average speaker that is not too bad for the price. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. This 75t sounds open, spacious, and clear as expected. Now all I want is a really good receiver with a bi-amp 7.2 setup and 2 powered subs. Turn that bass down. Cons: As expected, speakers are big. These speakers sound great out of the box, offering very good sound over a wide range of applications (games, movies, TV, music). The build quality is great, but I'm not sure if the grilles will hold up over time. I shall find out. Cons: The bass is very clear; however, it isn't as quite powerful as I'd hoped. I'm not going to ding the product for this, but you may want a subwoofer. And polk sub psw 505 I have a small living room so this setup fits me perfect I haven't even tried to crank it to the max I am actually scared.
