A masterpiece of sound and design, the Synergy Series Sub-10 shakes things up with its rock-solid performances. Its extraordinary power adds a dose of "reality" to movie explosions and other special effects, as well as reveals commonly elusive lower musical tones.

The Sub-10 reaches deeper and hits harder thanks to a 10-inch, down-firing driver coupled to a highly efficient BASH amplifier that creates 200 watts of continuous power and 420 watts of dynamic power. The subwoofer's built-in, steep-slope (24dB/octave) low-pass crossover is continuously adjustable from 40 to 120Hz. A phase control facilitates acoustical integration of the subwoofer with the other speakers in the system. An "auto power" feature enables the subwoofer to turn itself on and off (standby) automatically, based on the presence or absence of an audio signal. A blue/red dual color LED display on the front of the subwoofer indicates whether the unit is on or in standby mode.

In addition to delivering a bass impact that's beyond restraint, the Sub-10 features a new industrial design that is refined and aggressive. Available in a black finish with titanium accents, this extraordinary subwoofer matches the entire Synergy Series lineup in both style and performance. With its charged presence and room-rocking abilities, the Sub-10 delivers an adrenaline rush of sound that will impress your friends and provide years of high-quality audio entertainment.

  • newegg Impressive Bass The Klipsch Synergy Sub-10 boasts a 10" fiber-composite cone, down-firing woofer driver to deliver deep, accurate and tight bass, making your movies and music more realistic.
  • newegg High Dynamic Power Capable of handling 420W dynamic power, the Klipsch Synergy Sub-10 subwoofer delivers top-notch bass sound, making it an ideal match for your speaker system.
  • newegg BASH Technology The BASH technology is a successful marriage of high efficiency, low distortion, high bandwidth, low EMI and sound quality resulting in the most cost effective solution.

5 out of 5 eggsShakes the House!!

Pros: And to thing I wanted to buy two at first. So my Living room is about average size. (18.5'-23' two story ceilings) I had to turn the bass down on my receiver. (Yamaha RX-V673)
I was playing music and my daughter asked me to turn it down it was giving her a headache. LOL

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Don't forget to buy a cable... Just throwing out the reminder. I didn't even think about a cable until it arrived at my door. SMH!!

1 out of 5 eggsSounded great untill it died

Pros: Great room filling base. When it worked.

Cons: Died at 7 months. packing was terrible, box fell apart in shipping. I know I should have returned it right away but it looked ok and worked. For 7 month.

Other Thoughts: I read a fair number of reviews regarding dead units, I did not expect problems because I ran it at about 1/3 volume. But it died anyway. I doubt if I will buy Klipsch again.

4 out of 5 eggsNICE!!!

Pros: It hits really good, makes my whole room shake.

Cons: back leg came cracked.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this on March 31st, somehow it disapeared. Finally got it on the 14th of April. Other then that, and the crack on the leg I love this sub!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Sounds great.

Cons: Miserable lights (blue and red). Klipsch still warranties their discontinued products. It seems a shame that the turnover of products seems so short (approx. every three years).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat sub!

Pros: Got it cheap on a newegg sale. Klipsch is a solid brand in the home theatre arena. This sub sounds great in a large room paired with some in-ceiling speakers for a good 5.1 system.

Cons: None so far.

4 out of 5 eggsnice sound

Pros: This is my first surround system ever the rest of my speakers are Polk . I was going to get a Polk sub I heard Klimpsch was better specially on subs, and I'm 90•/• happy with it. There is two things not too nice about it one is the light right on the front, second is the size of it I think is a little to big.

Cons: The light on front, the size. Ok one more thing it don't has some good pad on the legs so it does not slide on my good floor.

5 out of 5 eggsvery clean sounding sub

Pros: im am very surprised on how clean, deep, and tight this sub sounds. no port turbulence, clean and not muddled. buy it, especially for the sub 200.00 new egg price.. amazing. this isn't a good sub for the money, its good period.

Cons: a little large in size, if you have a chop busting wife be ready for that complaint.. be careful with the legs as they are plastic and the sub weights quite a bit. mine arrived with one of them broken. absolutely no sound complaints what so ever.

Other Thoughts: no real need to spend a ton on a sub. this one sounds awesome and i do have lots of experience with home audio.. also, there are internet rumors of this particular model and other klipsch sub model amplifiers only lasting 2-3 years before taking a dump. might be something to consider. im not really worried about if for 169.00

5 out of 5 eggsI need a can of paint...

Pros: This thing ROCKS and I'm 65yrs. old. I have to re-paint the living room walls... Easy hook up and runs like they claim it does. Be careful playing Pink Floyd. Could be hazardous to your health.

Cons: Can be guilty of moving itself around if not placed on a carpet. Also the furniture changes places by itself.

Other Thoughts: If your looking to save room, this one won't fit the bill for you. It's HUGE...

5 out of 5 eggsNice 10" sub

Pros: Tight bass and quite powerful.
It is a kicker for just a 10" sub.
Good with rock music (is there any other) :)
I have it set for no cutoff, just let the sub deliver.
IMHO, bass management is meant for a receiver or source.

Very good deal when it's on sale.

Cons: What was the question?

Other Thoughts: Auto power down circuit works well. (20 minutes)

My experience with Klipsch sub woofers has been very positive.
