5 out of 5 eggsOlivia 37" LCD HDTV

Pros: Fantastic picture, sound, and special effects! This is a great TV for the price! My neighbor said it was a better picture than his new T***** LCD, that was double the price. I intend to buy two additional sets.

Cons: This model does not have the direct tv/satellite cable feed connection, so you will have to have some hdmi, s- cable, and audio/video connection cables available.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great TV! 720/1080i max (what they dont tell you) and lots of hookups for multiple ANYTHING. Even hookups for an existing computer speaker system if you have one.

Cons: The oblong base with built in speakers makes it hard to place into an entertainment center. Also there is just one HDMI port. If you want to connect multiple HD devices, invest in a switch. Updating the firmware through Olevia's site is a hassle too. Make sure you get the serial number/part number off the back before you mount it anywhere.

Other Thoughts: Hope you have a laptop if you need to connect the USB cable to the tv. Unless this tv is your monitor for your CPU, then you're going to need a Laptop.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter than its overpriced counterparts

Pros: Great picture quality (Our version came as a 1080i) for the same price? HDMI makes for great Xbox 360 gaming.

Cons: minor ghosting from light to dark images. hooks ups are awkwardly placed if the set is against a wall. only one set of RCAs.

Other Thoughts: little blue light makes for an annoying night light in the bedroom, nothing a little smiley sticker won't fix.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: I've had this TV for 2 years and its still working like the day I got it. Picture quality is excellent and compared to some cheaper HDTV's I've purchased, blows them away. This is on par to much more expensive TV's I've seen.

Cons: The remote codes....Comcast and Verizon have no codes to use with this TV. Not sure of other HD providers.

Other Thoughts: I've never had to contact their support specialists, so I don't know how well they are if you have a problem.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to setup.

Cons: Picture in comparison with similarly priced models. Cheap construction and components.

Other Thoughts: Think twice before buying. You are getting a TV that Olevia customer service will not stand behind. Had mine for over a year when it shorted out my laptop plugged into the HDMI port. Was told to update firmware and it shorted out the USB cable. Level 2 customer service's only response was sorry, you can pay to have your TV repaired, but we do not care about your laptop, cables or personal injury resulting from our poor design. Surge protectors and APC did not help me. No problems for over a year and then over 2k in damages. Good luck if you decided to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV for the price

Pros: I've had this TV for a year and each time I watch it I know that I've made a good choice. 37 inch tv? $600? That's unheard of. The picture is not the greatest but it's definitely above average and most definitely worth the price. This TV was a steal!

Cons: The picture is about average for this size TV.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this TV

Pros: Cheap TV

Cons: Costs more to repair than it does to buy. No customer support! No customer Satisfaction.

Not reliable based on a sample of 1.

Other Thoughts: I have the 537 version of htis TV.

It just stopped working just a few months after the warantee was up.

Their repair people said that they had no repair network. Repair main boards cost over $400 each. You have to pay shipping bot ways.

TV looks good on the curb but doesn't work.

Breaks my hart to trash a TV after 16 months of use.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat LCD for the price

Pros: Excellent picture for price.
Internal speakers are usable (sound is robust and crisp)
Great blacks.
Good contrast.
Looks good without tweaking, looks even better if you take the time.
All around great buy.

Cons: 1 HDMI input - Would be great to have 2. This isn't terribly difficult to correct with a $50 HDMI switcher, but you still have to purchase a switcher.
No HD tuner. Also another add-on, but it isn't an issue if you have a cable/sat box.
Only CD manual. Would be nice to have a printed one, but I wouldn't want it if it drove up the price slightly.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't call this a TV. It is essentially a very large monitor.
For all the customers complaining about the volume, it isn't the TV. It is your cable/sat box. Adjust the volume down 50% and you won't have this problem.
