5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Tons of inputs, great picture quality and awesomely inexpensive for those of us on the collegiate income program.

Cons: Takes a while to power up (~10-15 seconds), but well worth the wait.

Other Thoughts: I have never regretted this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME T.V.

Pros: This t.v. is awesome. The set that I purchased came with 2-hdmi,2-composite,etc. The picture is geat, really sharp. My dvds on my upconvert dvd player are awesome. I just ordered a vga cable so i can hook up my computer.Ican not wait. The sound is not as bad as everyone says it is.Figuring out the operating system for the t.v. is really not to hard once you get the hang

Cons: Just a couple, the buttons on the remote are really small,so if you do not have great eye sight it can be difficult to pick the proper key
Not really a problem but you have to cycle all thru The sources to get to the one you want.

Other Thoughts: I must say I love Newegg, but Ihad bought this set threw a ifferent vendor. This t.v. is great. you can not go wrong for the money. I researched lcd hdtvs for quite sometime before I boought this one, and boy am I happy

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent HDTV, great price

Pros: Beautiful picture, more than enough connections for my setup, and you can't beat the price. And plenty of features packed in as well

Cons: As some have noted previously, the warmup time is longer than I would have expected... it's not terrible, just unexpected. And I wish there was a way to change the source input directly to the desired choice with one button press (instead of having to cycle through the selections).

Other Thoughts: Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. It's almost perfect for my needs. And of course, NewEgg is the best for price, shipping, and service.

4 out of 5 eggsnice bang for buck

Pros: The price
I recently bought 2 of these for the kids. although I got it for under 500 on a one day sale at another store. Good picture decent outputs.

Cons: Well the blacks aren't all that black. everything seems abit washed out. some bleed through. Odd menu. can't quite get the picture the way i would like it. remote seems budget.
one hdmi

Other Thoughts: I also own a panasonic 32 lcd i purchased last christmas. although it was nearly 1k more. the picture blows this out of the water.

the rating is based on the price the egg has it for at the price i got it for its an easy 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome tv

Pros: The TV came in and to my surprise, it was a higher version than the one advertised. Instead of only 1 HDMI, 1 S-Video, 1 component, and 1 VGA... it came with 2 HDMI, 2 S-Video, 3 Component (1 was VGA), 2 composites, and a VGA port. Not to mention the built in HDTV Tuner is awesome. I use it for my laptop and the picture is crisp and vibrant. No dead pixels. Very excellent TV for gaming, computing, and HDTV in general. Perfect for a room or slightly bigger rooms.

Cons: The menu system kind of sucks. The start up time is rather slow, but not as bad as some people make it out to be.

Other Thoughts: Came with a power cable, remote, and instructions/warranty. I used a normal monitor replacement cable (VGA male/male) to hook my laptop on to this.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: Excellent unit, plenty of connectors, and lots of good features.

Cons: HD channels are expensive :(

Other Thoughts: 1) Make sure your outlets are properly grounded, this is very important for this TV! 2) Use a shielded VGA cable if you are hooking this up to a PC, or you will get ghosting. 3) Bought this from another vendor on sale, got poor service - should have known to stick with good ol' NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HDTV

Pros: - Great picture
- Excellent to use as a PC monitor
- decent amount of inputs and out puts
- Upgradeable Firmware
- Too many more to mention

Cons: - Changing between Inputs is kind of tedious w/o the ability to jump directly between them. Then again, most TVs have the same problem.
- No 1080p (not that I really care)

Other Thoughts: Amazing LCD TV i would say its "good for the price" but its way better then the price lets on. If you are looking to make the jump to HD, definitely give this one a try.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy! GET IT NOW!

Pros: Great Panel, colors are great, black level is completely acceptable (but not the absolute best). Almost zero backlight bleedthrough. Screen is bright, inputs work. The speakers sound good, I've heard much worse, but theres also better. Size was more than enough for the master bedroom. And I DID NOT say "great for the price", its GREAT and better than the higher priced ones out there. I love this TV but note my "cons" below:

Cons: Again, this TV is great, but there are some cons. 1) Lack of inputs. Only one HDMI, 1 component, one DVI, 1 VGA, 1 composite. 2) Menu system is ridiculous. What deranged Frenchman thought this up? A tiny spinning cube you must turn to choose options? Crazy. Still its usable, but wow, thats messed up. 3) Long boot-up time. Takes 20-30 seconds from pressing the power on the remote to actually watching live TV. 4) Using HDMI input makes bootup times about 5-10 seconds longer for some reason. 5) The mouting hols are on the stand thats attached to the TV, not the TV itself, so if you are wanting to use the mounting holes to mount on a wall, good luck. Its going to be hard and look silly with a stand underneath it just hanging there 6) Remote is next to useless. Good thing all I use it for is switching inputs.

Other Thoughts: With all its functional cons, this TV is still great. Get it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: What more could you ask for, it's a great TV.

Cons: Cost. The S&H cancels out the tax and discounts, at least when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for.
