5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Its great, recieves over-the-air hd signals much better than my LG hd tuner box (3510A) which cuts out all the time.

Cons: the blue led on the front...who thought that was a good idea?! It lights up the whole room. Plan on investing in some tape to cover it.

Other Thoughts: First recertified anything from Newegg, not disappointed, came with all the usual stuff. Free upgraded shipping when there was a minor glitch in ordering.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Underpriced Monster

Pros: The picture that this TV provides is simply beautiful. If it didn't say that the TV was refurbished when I bought it, I would simply have assumed that this was a brand new TV. The form factor fits nicely into my messy decor, and actually brightens the place up a tad. The TV also goes well with my PS3, and the PS3 automatically switched from composite video to HDMI when I connected the TV.

Cons: The plugs are all located in hard-to-reach places, but that is the price one has to pay for a neat-looking setup. Also, the blue light comes on when the TV goes off, which is a bit odd. I haven't yet seen it at night, but know that it won't hurt movie-watching with all the lights off.

Other Thoughts: I can't decide whether 720p or 1080i on this TV looks better, but just to be safe, I'll be using it at 720p. In order to have the PS3 output at 720p instead of 1080i, simply remove 1080i as one of the modes the TV supports.

5 out of 5 eggsA fantastic buy!

Pros: Very crisp picture. Watching HDTV is wonderful on here with the HDMI. I also use this as my primary computer display and love it!

Cons: Mine shipped with a broken IR sensor for the remote control. This is only a minor issue for me as I don't mind pressing the input selection key to switch between VGA and HDMI. It is hooked to an HD set top box, so I just use the remote with that for changing channels.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very good TV for the price....I've no problems with anything regarding the TV. It may as well been a new TV, absolutely flawless.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: If you had second guesses about refurbished items from NEWEGG, They are gone out the window now! I would recommend this product to family and friends!

Pros: Price is unbeatable.

Cons: 2 dead pixels, one bright, one dim. meh... couldn't get my digital cable channels to show up, knology sucks though.

Other Thoughts: my mom needed a new tv for her bedroom so i looked to find the cheapest flat screen 25"+ i could find. look no further. $100 cheaper than the cheapest 26" lcd at walmart, 'nuff said.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome quality

Pros: With free shipping the price couldn't be beat. The built in tuner makes all the difference in the world if you have digital cable or want to use an antenna for over the air hd. We have analog cable through direct tv and the picture on the SD cable actually looks pretty good on this set compared to others. On some channels you have to mess around with the aspect ratio a bit but it looks great. HD channels of course look phenomenal as they should.

Cons: Mine has one big bright dead pixel at the very top right corner of the set. Luckily it's toward the edge but it's really noticeable on a black screen.

Other Thoughts: Hooked it up to my friends digital cable (using cable coming out of the wall, not the cable box) and the tuner picked up hundreds of digital channels and a ton of HD channels all for free! The delay between changing channels wasn't that noticeable for me like other have complained about. And to change the source I usually just go through the menu which lets you go straight to the source you want to be on. I really love this set.

5 out of 5 eggsNot your Mother's TV

Pros: This TV once tuned has an absolutely flawless picture with over-the-air HD. I was impressed by the amount of features such an inexpensive set had and how well it performed. Also, Xbox360 looks and feels fantastic with full 720p and the ability to fully appreciate what the gamemakers were striving for. Even the sound isn't that bad, but considering the money spent is also exceptional.

Cons: Like many have stated, this TV does suffer from a poor remote and menu setup, but once you get used to the way things are laid out it's not as difficult as it might seem. My only real problem with this TV is the blue LED standby light that basically emits enough photons to light up a room to daylight. After calling Olevia's tech support, I was informed that as yet there is no firmware fix for this as the menu option that used to exist would cause problems with the TV (i.e. it would randomly turn off and on, picture would go blank, etc.), but that they were working on getting the option to turn the LED off. In the meantime he suggested a black sharpie or electrical tape to alleviate the problem

Other Thoughts: As always, Newegg is first class when it comes to the products they stock and their policies. The TV shipped in less than 2 days and came in perfect condition. I'm not sure that you can even call it a refurbished tv considering there were no dead pixels or any dings, dents or scuffs. If you have reservations about buying this TV due to the recertification, have no fear because I for one am very happy with the purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so sure...

Pros: When it works*, it looks pretty good. It has a great range of colors and contrast, giving a similar picture to a 46" XXXX LCD I had. It has a nice amount of hook-ups, and a great price.

Cons: *On the day it arrived, there was some weird visual noise. I have never seen anything like it or heard of a similar problem before. In the picture, random pixels will be dark green, dark blue (or now on the Wii, bright blue?) and will move with the animation. This problem has gone on and off since I've had it, and tomorrow I am sending it to Olevia for a replacement.

Also, the backlight leak is really bad on darker scenes. I realize it's a problem with all LCDs, but it's really bad here. Maybe my replacement will be better.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't say the input switching is slow, it's just annoying that I have to hit a single button to rotate through all options. Going from the 360 (component) to the PS3 (HDMI) takes one press, but from the PS3 to the 360 it's quite a few. On other brands, there's a menu to select from inputs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat inexpensive monitor/tv

Pros: I have had this TV for 3 months now and no problems so far. No dead pixels. I use this as a monitor for my pc and xbox 360. The 720p picture for the xbox 360 is great. The controls are pretty easy to use. The three levels of brightness are nice. I have not used this as a tv yet but I have played dvds through it and the picture is nice as well. Thinking about buying another one for living room. Neweggs shipping was fast and tv arrived in a new looking box well packed.

Cons: Takes a while to scroll through the inputs.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy for the price

Pros: Awesome quality for the price, couldn't find a better deal. Pretty easy setup. Lots of inputs.

Cons: Lighting uneven if you view if from an vertical angle. In a hodgepodge set up that is a dorm room, sometimes you have to make due with what you got. That means the TV is on top of a dresser and above everything else.

Other Thoughts: Pretty good buy.
