5 out of 5 eggsGood computer display

Pros: This display gives a great picture for the price and is a good step into the LED-LCD for someone without an endless budget. Input lag is virtually non-existent as long as the AV mode is set to game, this also made the text look a LOT better.

Cons: This set does not have local dimming, which is really what makes LED back-lit tv's stand out. Also the speakers on this set aren't very impressive, unless this is going to be in your bedroom, I'd get a separate stereo at least. Also the remote is definitely not as intuitive as it could be.

Other Thoughts: Make sure that whenever you get this tv you take the time to set it up the way that you want it. I read a review earlier about someone having nearly 1/4 second input lag when gaming. Thats what happens when you leave the tv in film mode. Also, if using this as a monitor, you will want to put the view mode in dot by dot or you will see that you're task bar and some of you're icons will get cropped. lastly make sure that all of you're drivers are up to date to ensure that you can take full advantage of this television. Lastly, make sure that you have the hardware to back this screen, no point in making something ugly big right?

5 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied

Pros: Great Picture
No Motion Blur
Does not generate a lot of heat

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Sharp has done an excellent job of improving LCD picture quality compared to my previous LCD purchases in the past. I am satisfied with everything about it. Menu is well thought out and there are a lot of advanced picture settings that are not available on my other units.

5 out of 5 eggsright choice

Pros: Brightness
Adequate inputs
Optical out
Contrast Ratio

Cons: Slow startup( but not as slow for me as many have claimed)
I believe the VGA input resolution is limited, but ordered a good dvi-hdmi cable cheap from m**oprice, hoping that will fix it.

Other Thoughts: Great tv. Not the best LED, but maybe the best bang for the buck I have seen. I have not experienced any of the problems with the "soap opera effect" many have experienced, and trust me I am very sensitive to that. I recommend it to anyone. PC looks good now even with the black bars, HD cable looks unreal, farrr better than my 42" Vizio. And the 360 is just incredible hooked up to it.

5 out of 5 eggsRight Decision

Pros: Excellent, crisp, outstanding picture - blew me away. Easy setup. Very intuitive connection of peripherals. Lots of HDMI connections available. Nice aesthetic design. Blue light at bottom - gotta love those blue lights!

Cons: Minor: Delay in turning on and actual picture - I have got to learn patience. Remote not so intuitive. Screen graphics that let you know it's adjusting brightness - just do it, I don't want to know about it. Major: Shark Week not here yet!

Other Thoughts: This was our first foray into HD and I did a lot of research. I incorrectly pictured hours of hair-pulling frustration getting it to work (that actually came in dealing with Comcast later). My 12-yr old son did most of the setup while I kept asking if he was done yet.

4 out of 5 eggssomethings missing

Pros: Price! Great build quality and the color is amazing.
Easy to set up and get going.

Cons: I guess I will blame myself for not doing more research, but in the photos you see a ethernet hookup.
This is available on all other tv's in this particular range, but the 32" does not get this great feature. I was really excited to use AquosNet but alas it is not possible. That is the only drawback thus far.

Other Thoughts: Does not come with a HDMI cable included.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome purchase!

Pros: After reading the last review I just had to write one. I bought this HDTV solely for gaming on my computer, and even though I've only had it a couple of days it's an AWESOME TV for gaming. I haven't noticed any lag, but some people are more sensitive to it than others. You have to make sure you set it to game mode or you will get lag. I will admit that there are some that are better for gaming than this set, but I wanted an led LCD so this was the best one for me. You can research input lag on the Avs forum and get a list of all the sets they have tested. The picture quality is excellent. I love this HDTV. To me, if you are looking for an led HDTV for watching movies or gaming this is the best value out there. This Sharp is well worth what I paid for it. Thank you Newegg.

Cons: It is slow to start up, but my Samsung I'm replacing it with was the same way, so I'm used to it.
Very minor, but it does seem to attract lint and dust. Make sure you keep a dry lint cloth close.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time I've purchased anything like this online, and I'm really glad I did. Very fast service. Only took 3 days to get to me. I hooked this up to speakers so I don't know how the sound is. Overall I'm a very happy customer. This is also my first review. :-)

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The picture is, well, Sharp! Excellent contrast: deep blacks and bright whites. Multiple HDMI inputs make source swapping a breeze. USB flash drive input for firmware updates. 1:1 pixel mapping (Dot by dot). Extensive color calibration adjustments. Was on sale!

Cons: Not a very good frame interpolation processing, especially compared to that of Sony. In other words, you won't really notice the smooth motion that 120hz HDTV's are made to exhibit. If you happen to dislike the "soap opera" effect created by the 120hz, it does not allow you to turn off this feature.

Backlighting capability is limited. You really have to set it up in a way that glare and reflections from the surroundings are minimized. But if you live in a small apartment and you don't have much of a choice in terms of placement, the backlighting leaves much to be desired.

The "AV MODE" button, which allows you switch from different screen modes, is not easily accessible on the remote. It is hidden behind a small door/lid.

Other Thoughts: This was a total impulse buy on my part. As soon as I got the email promo from newegg, I bought it right away. I should have read up more on the 120hz technology and on the this model itself. I regret this purchase, but that's my fault.

BTW, in case you don't know, this cannot double as a 120hz monitor. It doesn't receive a 120hz signal; it merely doubles 60hz through interpolation.

2 out of 5 eggsNot for gamers.

Pros: Absolutely phenominal picture. less stupid backlight bleed than anything else I've seen, crisp, awesome colors, a black like you wouldn't believe.

Cons: Advertised "4ms response time" and "gamer optimized" simply isn't true. This monitor's quarter second input lag was enough I returned it after a day. No gamer should ever consider buying this monitor based entirely off of this statistic.

Other Thoughts: Manufacturers should make an effort to figure out input lag, instead of all insisting they have the lowest and making ambiguous advertisements about "response time", which is not listed as "Pixel response time".
