Turn it on, and this 32" LCD TV comes to life with brilliant colors and intense blacks, rendered in an 8000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Moving images flow naturally, thanks to the fast 8ms response time. The 1366x768 resolution lets you choose among many of the most common computer resolutions and has full 720p HD functionality.

Avoid pre-April 2007 units
- Pros: Nobody has a better 32" TV picture, INCLUDING the 1080p units.
Outstanding RF sensitivity. Gets more stations on rabbit ears than my other (1080p) LCD gets on a large attic antenna.
- Cons: I've had three units: one built in Feb 07, one in Mar 07, and the good one in April 07.
The Feb and March units both had total sound dropouts every few hours on an HDMI connection, correctible only by turning off and back on; I'm told this is a known problem. The April 07 works perfectly.
- Other Thoughts: Sometime in March or April Samsung revised the firmware, correcting the HDMI sound failures, and making minor changes in the options.
To be safe, get one built in May or later. I give the Feb and Mar units one egg, and the April unit 5 eggs.
Awesome TV
- Pros: I believe this is an amazing tv. The amount of inputs combined with the amount of controls for each of those inputs independent of the others is amazing. The picture is amazing and in my opinion standard def looks great. Best option for a low cost high quality tv. Swivel base is very nice. Not mentioned much in many reviews, is the touch sensitive buttons for power volume and channel provided on the display itself. Very neat little trick. There is also the fact that it can detect which inputs have data coming into them.
- Cons: Bad remote... well not bad, but just slow and cumbersome. The remote is supposed to be able to control your components(via hdmi) by themselves, which may work. But if you choose composite and try entering in your own codes... well thats another question. Only some of the buttons work. I can not pause my DVD. If you are trying to troubleshoot video inputs it can get a bit daunting. Since it only displays inputs that have data coming into them, only those are available to select. Keep that in mind while trying to figure stuff out, my cable guy was very dumb :P
- Other Thoughts: I would recommend this highly, the amount of video display control you get with gamma and color, etc is amazing.

theres a reason this tv is sold out!
- Pros: tv looks slick. and is huge for being a 32 inch. i own a decent gaming pc and a 360 and both look amazing. the sound is actually really good for being onboard. the swivel base is nice. and theres this cool little blue light under neath the samsung logo. this tv came with a night light!
- Cons: i didnt buy it from newegg. i just dont trust ups. i wish newegg had a warehouse and id just pick it up myself.other than that im suffering ghosting because i bought a cheap vga cable for 9 bucks. but i can put up with it. ordered new cables from newegg so shouldnt be ghosting anymore
- Other Thoughts: this tv rocks! it was this or an lg. i ended up picking this for obvious gaming reasons. although lgs customer service rocks.
perfect room tv/ monitor
- Pros: The clear embezzlement on the bottom is actually a really nice accent to this lcd. I found that mounting it on the wall makes it look even better. It's really nice to have all the plugs I could ever use in the back and the nifty wise link on the side. It's good for watching movies from my computer. The lower resolution shows lesser quality movies a lot better than my monitor, which has a high resolution.
- Cons: i haven't come across any to speak of.
- Other Thoughts: I've never had a problem with glare or picture quality. Everything about the picture quality is excellent. On a closing note, the best accessory for this TV, besides a wall mount, is a really long hdmi to dvi cable.

The wiselink is nice to view photos from an external usb drive. Lots of inputs. Sound is great for 10 watts. Works great as a pc monitor.
