Not happy
- Pros: Good picture
- Cons: Poor sound, very slow response when changing channels, looses stations at random times (we have cable TV).
Bad tech support, they don't return messages so I don't know what to do with the unit.
- Other Thoughts: I believe that our TV has a defect in the tuner so that may explain why we loose HD channels at random. Tech support can not be contacted.
NewEgg will not help us return the unit for exchange. They said to contact ViewSonic but ViewSonic does not return messages. They do not honor the rebate either. We sent in everything as requested and have copies of the documents including the original UPC code and serial number that was sent to them from the box.
Great TV/Monitor
- Pros: Good picture, accepts HD signals QAM tuner, plenty of inputs
- Cons: No Audio OUT! (Headphones don't count, different impedance)
- Other Thoughts: I Love the Monitor and TV aspects, have an HDDVD Player and 2 computers attached, but I really wish that it had an audio output.

- Pros: build-in digital tv tuner with good reception
- Cons: bad picture quality. hdmi input is the worst I've ever seen.
- Other Thoughts: if you want to use it as a pc monitor, you'd better look for something else. the vga input can do 1440x900 but the hdmi can only display 1280x720 with terrible color mapping.
Very Disappointed
- Pros: Non-reflective screen, attractive frame. 22" is the perfect size for day to day use.
- Cons: As a VGA monitor this thing stinks. The picture randomly shrinks in width and tears in half, and you have to reboot the computer to get the picture back to normal. Then hold your breath waiting for it to happen again. As a TV the QAM tuner will only recognize 3 or 4 digital channels on my cable system, while my cheap Colby TV found more than 60!
- Other Thoughts: I paid lots of money for the Viewsonic name, but I won't be fooled again. My Vizio and Colby TV/monitors blow this thing away at half the price. My wife will probably throw this out in the woods the next time the picture tears, then I can replace it with a good one (NOT Viewsonic).
Great HDTV
- Pros: Great Picture. Nice for gaming has very little lag. With 6 inputs it really has a lot of options for different types of viewing.
- Cons: Speakers are not all that great. Would suggest using something else. Remote is a little confusing for the first week or so.
- Other Thoughts: Got this tv for MLG. It is great! It pretty much surpassed my expectations of what this tv was going to be like. I definitely suggest getting this tv.
