Decent TV

Pros: The TV works well and isn't too heavy. It is works decently as a monitor also. Not enough lag in high moving scenes to be easily noticeable.
Cons: Splash Screen (Startup Screen) can be annoying. I have yet to find a way to remove. Due to this, the startup time can be a little slow.
The controls to change functions can be confusing without the remote.
Other Thoughts: I haven't had this for long enough to write a detailed review, but so far it works fine.

Not Bad.....But

Pros: Bought the 1973 version (adds built-in DVD player) for my parents. Picked up all the Comcast digital channels in our area without a problem.

The 1440 x 900 resolution is nice...while not quite true 1080p, it's a step in the right direction.
Cons: Remote controller is really picky...must be pointed directly at the green dot power-on indicator.
Other Thoughts: Consider spending a little more money on a better-known brand if possible. But for what it is, the Coby 1923/1973 is not that bad a deal.
