4 out of 5 eggsSolid Tech

Pros: Fantastic picture, hookups galore, rapid start up. This model has it all. You can change view modes on the fly and really have a great experience. My computer uses this as the primary monitor and I wouldn't trade it.

Cons: The base is flimsy and there are issues where my picture will shift modes and the screen will go black a bit longer than it should. I think these issues may stem from some error with hooking it up to my graphics card though.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy this product again.

4 out of 5 eggsGood TV, for Great price.

Pros: The TV is really good for the price.

Cons: Menu system isn't the best. The remote layout is annoying. I also wish it had an S-video port. But non of these cons are that bad.

Other Thoughts: I mainly wrote this review to thank Newegg. I had a dead pixel in my first set. So I contacted Newegg through online chat, for an RMA. The employee named Austin (I believe) was super helpful, approved my RMA without a problem. I sent it back to Newegg, and with in like 7 days (that includes sending it there and back) my replacement was here, and seems to be working fine (I just got it today).

I no longer have need for B&M stores for my electronic needs (and most video games as well), because Newegg always goes above and beyond to make their customers happy, and almost always has the best prices. I've built 3 PCs, bought headphones, games, all my monitors, and an HDTV from Newegg, and have never had a complaint, or bad experience with them.

So thanks Newegg, and it's employee's for caring about the customer. A business practice I thought was pretty much dead these days.

5 out of 5 eggsGood deal

Pros: Good value, free shipping, and it meets my needs. I drive the display through HDMI from my laptop. The sound and picture are good.

Cons: Every time the TV is powered off (or reinitializes the HDMI input, I guess), it switches back to a "Natural" setting for "Theater Mode." Who knows what that's supposed to mean, but to me it means I have to go into the menu each time and switch it to "Native." If I dont, a good 20px are cropped off the top and bottom so I can't properly see the start bar or title bar of maximized windows.

Other Thoughts: I updated to the latest firmware v1.07, so I can't comment on v1.05 or whatever it shipped with.

Here's a link to it for the lazy:

Just need a blank flashdrive and format it to FAT16.

1 out of 5 eggsPC Input is not 1080

Pros: Nice price. Nice looking TV.

Cons: The PC input does not support the full 1080 resolution of this monitor. The maximum resolution through this input is 1280x1024. Doesn't make sense since the monitor is 1080. Returned it for a monitor that supports 1080 on the PC input.

5 out of 5 eggsJMoen

Pros: I already had a 46" Toshiba TV I've become a real fan of there fit and finish. Plugged this unit into HDMI GT 9400 video card putting out 1080p and put Blue ray to the TV. Colors and clarity were great. Perfect gaming monitor if your not ready for 3D. Battlefield 2 game sucks you right in. Can't beat the price on this product.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Bought this unit to hold me over till 3d gaming becomes affordable and viable. Enjoying this purchase so much in gaming haven't got aroung to hooking up Hi def TV. Buy this TV.

4 out of 5 eggsblack dot

Pros: cheap 1080p
works natively with a PC

Cons: black dot. wouldn't normally be bad for being used as a TV but as a monitor it's very evident.

I've seen dead pixels before. They appear to be square and can usually be fixed or fix themselves. This TV came with a bit of dust behind the screen. It's round and jagged and appears on 2 layers (from the front to back) of the screen.

Other Thoughts: This is the first TV I've bought online because of a fear of something like this happening. I'm not sure what newegg will do about it but am waiting to hear back from their RMA department. Even if they offer a replacement I'm sure I'll still have to pay return shipping on it which can be quite expensive for such a large item. :(

Pros: First the price $349 free shipping. Second Ordered on Monday received on Wednesday. easy hook up, perfect picture good sound. bought this as a extra TV for the kids play room. several hookups for their games DVD even can hookup to computer. I am picky when it comes to electronics and this TV is the best buy I could find nothing else even came close.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother great product from Newegg

Pros: 32" 1080i/p the price and free shipping. Firmware updating is a breeze. Video quality is great, no dead pixels and the sound is good enough for casual listening. Like others have stated this makes a great bedroom TV. PC ready and 4 HDMIs.

Cons: I'm coming from a 27" crt with a separate digital to analog over the air broadcast converter. The converter made use of the TV stations program guide signal and I knew what was going to be coming on all day for each channel. Not sure about other LCD TV models but this one (pressing the info key) will only display what's on now and what's coming up next.

Other Thoughts: Ordered this last week on Wednesday and got it by Friday no damage to the box whatsoever. I held off for a week giving a review to put this TV through its paces and it hasn't disappointed yet.

My first big screen lcd tv. I was never tempted before to get an lcd because to me the prices are obscene for what they've been charging for them the past 10 years or so. I just couldn't see spending that kind of money on a TV. So here comes this model and size for only a 1/2 or a fraction of the price for the others and I was tempted. Glad I did. Thanks Newegg.
