4 out of 5 eggsJust want to add to my previous Review

Pros: In summary of my previous review:
1) good 2D picture
2) Mediocre 2D to 3D conversion at best
3) Good 3D output
4) "Ok" sound (its a TV don't expect much from speakers that are a half inch deep)
6) TV was light but still needs two people to be safe.
7) No dead pixels
8) Game Mode IS AMAZING for gaming (ZERO LAG) 2 ~5ms and 8 to 15 ms without game mode(still playable).(Buy this TV if all you care about is gaming on a 55" (the MS are not measured with any tools Its just from my "feel" and it should be better than what I say actually cause I played with video being relayed through a receiver.
9) Shipping Team was GREAT, they arrived early (even though it came late in the day they went out of their way to bring the TV ahead of schedule).
10) They handled the TV with care and the Box came in perfect condition (all the edges were sharp on the box/didn't look beat-up at all)

Cons: 1) Poor packaging (internally) by Toshiba factory, the Styrofoam could and SHOULD be thicker surrounding the set.... honestly the foam was barely hanging together when I opened the box... My first gut reaction when i looked at the packaging was "ZOMG SOMETHING IS DEF GONA BE BROKEN" but everything was MINT upon inspection.
2) Light Cross Talk on top right corner when using 2D to 3D conversion/ 2D conversion kinda sucks/lame / extra feature that shouldn't even be judged/considered when buying a TV so yea...
3) The Remote control sensor (IR sensor) is located in the lower middle area of the screen , if you put stuff infront of the screen the remote tends to not catch the signal (not really a con but cmon just design the remote sensor in the top right corner next time).

Other Thoughts: Good TV 4/5 eggs all day... -1 for packaging and I would minuse an egg for the remote sensor location but that would be a bit harsh.

4 out of 5 eggsBit the bullet Great for Gaming!

Pros: Ok I bit the bullet and purchased this TV set, from new egg.
The TV is amazing 2D picture quality is on Par or better than any Sharp Aquos I have seen, 2D picture is great, gaming performance is GREAT / AMAZING, I was able to play Battlefield 3 (from PC link over HDMI) with ZERO lag over HDMI.
Latency feels about 4 ~ 5ms, but it really feels just like playing on my 2ms Samsung LED 24" because of Game Mode.
With Game Mode disabled there is a slight increase in delay (feels like 12 ~ 15 ms).
This is my 2nd Toshiba 55" my first was the older 120 hz model (used for living room) this set is used in my basement/game/computer room).
Both sets play games well, BUT this 240hz model feels like it doesn't cut corners on game mode... (picture quality in game mode is better on this set than the older one).

Cons: OK, for the sake of argument im going to nitpick.
1) 2D to 3D conversion is... its not bad, its just disapointing? I guess would be the best way to state it... I didn't expect much but lets be honest I had to take the glasses off just to make sure that it was actually converting 2D to 3D (you really almost can't tell its 3D).
All 2D to 3D conversion does is add a little "depth" to the image... its not going to make things pop out and make you go "WoW".
That being said, 2D to 3D conversion is really an "extra" its not meant to be used for a "real 3d" experience .

2) Cross-Talk, um there is a little (not much) cross talk in 2D - 3D on the top right quadrant of the screen (about 8 inches down and 8 inches to the left) of the top right corner. BUT no cross talk in standard 3d (atleast I didn't notice any?)

3)Back light bleed, some sections of the screen suffer.... I haven't played with back light settings though yet, the bleed is a minor con.

Other Thoughts: Considering the price, i am more than satisfied.
The TV arrived both EARLY and LATE, (I expected the TV to come Monday the 30th of Jan 2012) but the shipping company called me on Tuesday the 24th (only 3 days after pressing "submit order" XD and said they had a truck available for 2 to 7pm, the set arrived at my door at around 8:30pm.... so it was late , but still early.
The set arrived in good condition (the box was not dented up or anything), BUT the foam bricks inside were HIGHLY DAMAGED (almost deteriorated) but this did not concern me much because the way the foam is made its very thin... (TOSHIBA DON'T CHEAP OUT ON PACKING MATERIAL) if the TV was not handled with care it almost certainly would of been broken due to POOR PACKAGING BY TOSHIBA.
The edges of the foam are made very thin (the foam surrounding the TV was only 1inch by 1" (maybe even thinner), the foam was almost as thin as the TV itself.
The stand felt like it was loosely packaged (kinda thrown in there) behind the

5 out of 5 eggsPerformance Price

Pros: I have the older model in my living room, its great for gaming, the screen cuts some corners on image quality to achieve gaming performance, but its worth it.... you have almost no input lag for games... even the Wii which is notorious for LCD lag plays with zero lag.
Im sure this screen has the same quality/speed... if gaming performance is your thing this screen probably wont disappoint...
Im in a position, where I can afford a nice Samsung, BUT im going to use it for gaming and well most samsungs I have played on SUCK for gaming/have a lot of lag....
I want this TV but the price is not right for it...
The TV is a good deal around 1200 ~ 1299$ and you can find it cheaper online.

Plan to play Online games with it in my game room ^^ Xbox/Ps3/Pc normally I would just order it despite the price difference but meh 100$ is 100$ if it came with something free like .... IDK a Blue Ray player or something ? or maybe like... offer some good combo discounts with some nice Yamaha 5.1 Ho

Cons: The price, I want to order from new - egg in conjunction with another Item, the same order is 1650$ someplace else... and on new egg its like 1800$.... gona hold off for a bit till price comes down just a bit more ... TVs are dropping in price because lets face it... no one is running to BB to grab TV's in this economy.
