Does this have a stand or is this wall mount only?

Dear New Egg Customer.... I bought TV on 12/15/13 and received it a few day's later.  I made the leap of faith thinking that it had flip out legs on the back so that it could stand just as it is shown.  The assumption was correct and the TV can stand on it own just as shown.  This worked well for me in that I have it in the kitchen under the counters and the setup allowed me to maximize the viewing size of the screen.

Does it come with abase and support so it is free satnding? Picture looks like has to be wall mounted...

Yes, it has a triangular base, but it causes the TV to set at a backwards tilted angle and sets flat against the surface it is setting on. This has proven to be a problem, I am buying a high end wall mount because the dark images in some programs are sketchy at best if you are at any angle. This TV was obviously designed as a high end computer monitor not a TV.

Is this the 24" Vizio with WiFi capabilities too?

If you know what you are doing, you can flash the firmware and put a wifi dongle in the back USB slot, that will give you wifi capabilities. It's a very cheap way to have a smart TV without paying the prices they want for smart TVs.

Am I right in guessing that this TV only comes with the power cord for cables (i.e. it doesn't come with HDMI cables ect.)?

Mine came in a brown cardboard box with "Vizio" printed on both sides of the box. It looks exactly like the box in the 4th picture in the item description.

The model number, bar codes, etc., are on white stickers on one end of the box, along with a white sticker that says, "Recertified."
