1 out of 5 eggsWas fine until the backlight went out 1 year later

Pros: Has good picture and sound.

Cons: Does not come with QAM tuner so I could not receive my cable companies HD programming. I got 1 year of use out of it before the backlight went out.

1 out of 5 eggsGood picture ok audio bad life.

Pros: for a cheap TV, the picture was good. Sound was ok.
Looks ok
Lightweight

Cons: got it last Christmas, 2014, and it is used in a guest room. Backlight went out today with guests over.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy again. I'm a few weeks over the 1 year warrant.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price on a good tv.

Pros: Good picture quality and good sound quality.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this on sale for $159.99 and at that price it was cheaper than most 32" tv's. I don't think that this tv would be worth its suggested $429.99 price, but for under $200 it's a steal!

2 out of 5 eggsIt's dead, Jim

Pros: Was decent while it lasted

Cons: Screen won't turn on any longer. Looks as though the backlight controller has died.
Called the manufacturer warranty service line and was disconnected after 12 minutes on hold. That was a bummer.

Other Thoughts: Eh, I bought 2. One is still kicking and one isn't. Your mileage may vary.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't get. Unless you want to replace it in 3-7 months

Pros: At first, this was a great deal. The picture is outstanding (After adjustments of course) and the sound I thought was good enough for me, since I have never really used any good sound systems, it was good. It has been outstanding for the past 7 months, mild gaming, movies here and there..... Until now.

Cons: The picture just flat out stopped showing. I still get audio through the speakers (HDMI), just no image/video, nothin'. When I mean no video, you can't even see the Menus pop-up for the T.V.
I barely even used the T.V. in the 7 months I have owned it, maybe 1-10 hours a week at most.

Other Thoughts: Steer clear of this T.V. and pay a little more for a more reputable/reliable brand. From what I've heard Seiki Customer service is junk. Hopefully the RMA process goes well.... or im out $260...

1 out of 5 eggsGood Picture, Poorly Made

Pros: The picture and color are good, especially at this price point. I have no complains in this department.

Cons: You are taking a gamble with your money if you buy one of these. The majority of the reviews tout the picture quality, but don't mention that these TVs have a habit of breaking after just a couple months. (The backlight on mine jsut siddenly stopped working.) Yes, they have a one-year replacement warranty, but Seiki's policy is that the customer is responsible for shipping to their service center. I'm in Oregon, and Seiki is in California. Shipping one way is about $80. And seeing how this TV broke within three months, what's to say the replacement won't break in a couple months as well? Then I'll have to shell out another $80 for a replacement and wait for them to finally get it back to me. I'd rather save that money and invest it in a higher quality TV from a company that actually cares about its customers. I wish i had done that in the first place.

Other Thoughts: tl;dr: Don't be fooled by the nice picture and low price tag. There's a big chance this TV will break after a few months, leaving you to pay nearly $100 to get it replaced. Put that money toward a better TV instead.

5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

Pros: This was a steal when I bought it back on last november $240 and I had to get it. picture did need tweaking out of box and the speakers are good enough to my likings. I don't need Bose 7.1 studio quality audio, just good will do.
Super light (to me) and has a very sturdy stand.
The response time is really nice for gaming, almost no lag like the old glass boxes.
I've now had it almost a year and couldn't be happier.

Cons: None really aside from it needing to be tweaked out of box.
