the t.v. does come with a remote.  The reviewer who mentioned that their's was missing meant that it was omitted by accident.  This is a very nice t.v.

Claims to have 3 HDMI ports but you can see only two in the picture where is the other one hidden?

If you are looking at the monitor from behind, it is on the right side at the bottom next to the side HDMIs and to right of the other input connectors. Within an inch of the far bottom side hdmi.

Question 3

The back of the TV has an input labeled COAX but it is not coax.  How can I connect my older DVD player to it that does not have an HDMI output?  It only has RCA composite and COAX out.

I went through a very similar scenario when trying to connect some speakers to the device; ended up just resorting to the headphone out jack. Since there's no actual coaxial input, your best bet is probably finding a way to utilize the RCA input. Your DVD player should support it. If for any reason it doesn't, you can look into a coax to RCA adapter or, possibly a better choice, a standard RCA to VGA cable set.

This TV's great aside from its lack of legacy jacks. Good luck!

I bought this TV from another site. When I tried to fasten the wall mount to the back of the TV, only the top two holes had threads inside. The bottom two holes do not have threads inside. So, is this TV supposed to hang from only two screws (bolts) on the back of the TV?

Don, it will hang safely from only the top two mounting points.  It is much lighter than the original wide-screens that the VESA mounts were designed for.  Those are SUBSTANTIAL.
On the other hand, I have two problems.  1) It gets confused in auto-shutdown.  I have to unplug it and wait to restart it.  2) I have never achieved 4k relolution  - even with the help of two working techs.  Again, however, the 1080p resolution is so good that I can get by.

Question 6

I am looking to buy this TV to be used with my computer as a monitor.  I had a 720P TV before, when I use the excel application, the numbers are not clear at all.  Will the number be clear at 1080P on this TV?

Yeah, 720p should be high enough though. The actual resolution for 1080p is 1920 x 1080 pixels. Standard TV is set at 480x360 pixels. Even at 720 your small don't should be pretty clear. This may depend on your computer and not your TV.

Do this:

1. Make sure your graphics card driver or onboard graphics drivers are up to date. All websites offer their drivers for free. Simply go to the site of your computers manufacturer or cards (if you have your own customized card) and download the proper drivers. Google graphics card drivers for more help.

2. If using windows right click on the desktop and go to screen resolution or video settings. On a Mac you can find this under system preferences. Make sure the TV is set as either a clone screen or a second output and make sure it's set at the proper resolution of 1280 by 720.

3. High definition only comes in certain ways. Typically for a computer you would use an HDMI (vid and sound) cable, a DVI (vid and sound) cable or a VGA (older, analog, video only) cable. These three are capable of outputting the resolution at it's full 1280x720, they also support 1080 resolutions and DVI cables can support even higher. Make sure you are using an HD compatible cable. I would recommend HDMI since it's now standard with most TVs and laptops.

4. Try using a zoom function, granted you have done 1 and 2 above. If you are still having issues seeing the numbers, windows and OS X both have zoom functions that you can find through their search menus.

Is this TV Bluetooth compatible?

If you are asking; does it transmit audio over Bluetooth?  The answer is no, not without a Bluetooth adapter attached to the audio out of the TV.

I recently purchased this tv but the cable company was unable to provide me the proper codes to program my cable remote to work. Does any know the codes to program a cable remote to operate this tv?

I've got an Xfinity remote and after some trial and error got all of the functions I care about working. Interpreting the remote's output of what that number IS was itself a chore, but I wrote down:

does this have an auxilary out port?

Yes, it does have a headphone (3.5mm) jack in the back. I had a small set of computer speakers that are usb powered, and since the tv also has a usb port on the back- I hooked those up to the usb port and the headphones out jack and improved the sound quite a bit over the built-in speakers.
