Pros: Purchased 11/22/11, worked well for that season.

Cons: Early winter 2012 I woke up in the morning and noticed it was completely off.

I unplugged, and plugged it back in, It began to smell of bur plastic and produce smoke.

Other Thoughts: It lasted a while, and seems that when it did fail it tuned itself off. I have pets. Your mileage may vary.

Pros: this heater is great for a small room. not so good for med. to large room.

Cons: better for small rooms

Pros: works fine, warm enough even when set on halfway temp mark and lowest fan setting

Cons: fans are noisy but probably typical of any heater like this

Pros: It works. Provides heat and is fairly quiet.

Cons: When I took it out of the box I noticed something rattling around inside the unit. Sounds like something small, so far has not shorted out anything or effected functionality. It smells funny. Like cheap plastic that emits some sort of volitile substance. And not just when it is heating - I noticed this as soon as I opened the box.

Cons: Did not work right out of the box. When I plugged it in there was a small plume of smoke. The fan does NOT work at all and so the device is useless.

Cons: This heater does not have a safety switch of sorts that will automatically turn the heater off if accidentally tipped over. I experimented and with heater laying flat heat could have easily caused a fire. I've owned other portable heaters and they all have had such a devise. This is a glaring shortcoming, so be careful.

Pros: it heats up pretty well and is powerful

Cons: it broke in 3 months. the knob for ON/OFF came off, i tried to glue it back together, but everything got stuck. I tried to open it, but they used some foreign special screw. DONT BUY IT. its good but very weak. also there is a handle in the back to pick it up, when you do lift it, it slips off because the weight is not proportional. I spent $25 for it, but its not worth it. I bought some cr@ppy ones from home depot and lasted me 3+ years (winter only, but you know how NY was last year)...

Other Thoughts: nothing i can do now but to throw it. I though lasco was a big name brand. the knobs are really weak.

Pros: I'll keep this simple. You get tons of heat out of a small device. The thermostat works great at keeping the room as hot as you want. My room is 12x18 and it kept it nice and warm when it was 32*F outside. The device would just turn on and off as needed and kept it nice and warm throughout the night.

Cons: None thus far. If I can say anything it's that I can hear it during operation. But it's no more audible than my computer.

Other Thoughts: Worth the buy for the nights you don't wanna turn on central heating.

Other Thoughts: I've used it for over 2 years now. During the winter I use it to keep a small porch area warm. I love it because it only comes on when its needed and doesn't run all the time. The small thing can really put out the heat! I love it.
