Is this the cameras only???

No, A 16 channel NVR And four great cameras they are crystal clear, I'm able to read license plates of anyone coming into my driveway

does this kit come with included ethernet cable or do i have to provide my own?

Mine came with six 100' cables even though it only had 4 cameras.

Can I connect other cameras? onvif?

I wrote the same question to LaView tech support, and they replied within a day : "1. You can plug in a 4MP or 5MP camera to this system, but note that the Live View will only downscaled to 1080p. The actual recording off these cameras will show their true resolution of 4mp and 5mp. 2. This system does support Onvif."
