No QAM for XP

Pros:
Nice hardware design.
Cons:
No QAM for XP as Stated on Box it has QAM Support for Vista. No where does it say it supports QAM for XP. Most cable providers send HD channels in the clear at 256 QAM. Also software was buggy for TV bluescreened once, Thruview wouldnt work for TV(Thruview worked for PCI version when I tested same software must be hardware.) wouldnt tune correctly several times and it would initialize with controls not responding this is all on a fresh tested install that included XP Pro SP2.
Overall Review:
I have 9Yrs experience working with computers, large networks and servers.
I owned a AIW 8500 for 5 yrs now. Im forced to find a different solution since newer boards support PCIE and no longer AGP. Bummer I have read many reviews and Avermedia's card I will be trying next.
