You installed it upside down. 11/28/2008
This review is from: Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU 500 W ATX 12V 2.0 Power Supply
Pros:
Huge rebate right now. I don't own it, but I saw that someone complain that the exhaust fan is at the top of the unit and not at the rear. I write mostly to respond to that.
Cons:
None that I know of.
Overall Review:
OK, so it's not the top of the unit, you installed the power supply upside down. ANY fan needs an intake side and an outtake side. For 99% of power supplies, that means that there are vent holes facing the outside of the case (where the screws go) and the other side of the faces towards the interior of the case (usually towards the motherboard, specifically the CPU).
