Pros:
Works as advertised.
Inexpensive.
Gives you more storage by recycling your old IDE drive.
Great way to stay green!

None that I can think of.
Overall Review:
Before I picked this up, I read the reviews to make sure it works well. Admittedly, I was a skeptic. I installed this back in May & haven't looked back since. It has been flawless, mind you I'm not using this on an optical drive or use it for a boot disk. I'm using this on an older HDD to store media.
As I mentioned, I read the reviews before purchasing & some complained about confusing instructions- well, pictures speak a thousand words. Just make sure you follow the instructions STEP BY STEP.
I would recommend this component for those who wish to keep an IDE drive with a mobo that no longer supports it.
