Failed after ~18 months 03/18/2012
This review is from: G.SKILL 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory Model F3-8500CL7S-4GBSQ
Pros:
Worked fine initially.
Cons:
Failed after only 18 months and not even heavy use and corrupted my Windows 7 installation beyond repair.
Overall Review:
Memory should not only work, but should out-live other components in the computer. That his failed in only 18 months tells me G.Skill is cheap and not worth saving a few bucks to risk losing a day and a weekend to trouble-shooting and recovering from the damage caused.
Manufacturer Response:
