This review is from: Nikon Coolpix S6300 Black 16MP 10X Optical Zoom 25mm Wide Angle Digital Camera HDTV Output
Pros:
The size is great and the Video quality from the camera is impressive. For a small camera it has impressive amount of optical zoom.
Cons:
the Rest of the camera. The shot to shot time is slow, and it cannot take action shots without being blurry. There comes a time when the electronics overwhelm the intended use, and Nikon has gotten there.
It only takes good still shots. When there is too much motion in the background, the poor shutter speed and object tracking are a disappointment.
No amount of tweaking the dozens of settings on the camera can get the picture to turn out. The cons just ruined what could have been a great camera and made it no better than a cheap $50 dollar camera.
Overall Review:
I purchased this to replace an older Canon PowerShot s3IS due to my wife going out of country and wanting a smaller camera.
After the Nikon's disappointing performance, going back to the Canon for motion shots makes a noticeable difference with action shots.
